The reason he didn't bring Wizard Tony was that he was still new to the team.

With a grey bear in front, all the attacks from the knights were counteracted.

As for their curses, they couldn't do anything to law-defying wizards.

Of course, Abel was confident to enter because there were no Dark Gold bosses around.
