Huh... Garry?" Max stammered, turning to find Garry standing there, sipping casually from a cup of coffee.

Garry's stern command snapped Max back to reality. "Get off that seat, you fool!"

Max's shock and relief mingled as he stammered, "Thank God you're okay"

Garry responded with a smirk, "Yeah, but why are you alive?"

Perplexed, Max inquired, "What do you mean?"

Garry explained, "Looks like that useless King couldn't handle you and your friend. No wonder he couldn't even protect his wife and daughter—bloody useless."

Max watched as Garry resumed control of the situation, reactivating the wall that had shielded Serena and Aaron and ordering the seized robots to resume their relentless assault.

"What are you doing?" Max protested, launching towards Garry.

But before he could reach him, massive humanoid hands pinned him to the ground.

With a sinister grin, Garry taunted Max, "Aww, boy.. How stupid can you be?"
