First Day Of School (Part II)

Our little man walked, taking little steps, and reached the front of his whole class. His eyes started wandering everywhere, and after some time he nervously said, "My name is Andrew Roy." I like Shinchan and don't like drinking milk. I love both my daddy and mommy.

The teacher praised him too and gave him candy, which he accepted with a smile on his face, believing he had done well, and then he walked over to his seat and sat down.

'Draw whatever you like, children.' The students were then instructed to remove the notebook and crayons out of their backpacks. She asked Miss Patricia and Miss Jennifer to assist the kids in getting the crayons and notebook out of their bagpacks.

Likewise, Andrew opened his notepad and crayons and began to sketch. He intended to depict his three-person family. In order to represent the faces of his parents and himself, respectively, he created two large circles and a smaller circle in the middle of them.

Then, after drawing a straight line vertically and four more lines for the legs and hands—basically, whatever he could think of—he began to colour them.

He was pleased that his artwork was complete despite the fact that it had taken him an hour. The majority of the other students in the class finished at the same time; those who hadn't finished continued to sketch, some sobbing because they couldn't finish.

The teachers found out that most of the children had completed their drawings, started checking, asking what they had made, and praising them while handing out candy to the children for their efforts.

Our little man too displayed his artwork with a countenance that begged for admiration but simultaneously feeling that he shouldn't reveal that he had grown weary after working hard to complete it because big boys don't display weakness.

Our young guy's little secret was revealed to the teacher. The teacher found it amusing to observe the young child's anticipation and display of being a big boy. She then carried out the young boy's request. She asked him if he was tired and gave him chocolates as she complimented him.

Our little man, thinking himself a big boy, puffed his chest out and patted it, saying, "I am not tired; I am a big boy now." I help my mommy and daddy.

"Yes, yes, you are a big boy." The teacher patted the little man's head and smiled sweetly.

The teacher then went to another student's place and checked her drawing while our little man, who was tired after drawing, got tired again after his little show of strength and fell asleep.

After some time, approximately 3 hours later, our little man could be seen sleeping soundly while sucking his thumb. He slowly opened his eyes. He looked everywhere and found no one. He was panicked and about to yell when he saw Miss Jennifer enter the room with a nipped bottle of lukewarm milk for him to drink. It's good that you are awake; here, drink the milk, big boy.

He was reluctant to drink milk but was hungry too. He took the bottle and started drinking milk. After some time, he finished his milk and was carried by Miss Jennifer to the class.

He and everyone else's attention were drawn when Miss Mary clapped her hands and asked them to listen to her. Everyone should pack their bags and stand in a line. You all are going home now.

Everyone in the classroom fell silent and started crying while saying, "I want to meet mommy or I want daddy." Our little man was going to cry, but he remembered he is a big boy, and Daddy told him big boys don't cry. He was sniffing as he wanted to cry but also didn't want to cry.

They all soon made the line and reached the gate, where the parents were waiting for their children. The children then went to their respective parents. Our little man found his mother waiting for him. He ran towards her and said with the same face, asking to be praised while trying to hide the fact that he wanted to be praised. "I did not cry, and I was a good boy."

His mommy then took his bag off, carried him up, kissed his forehead, and said, "I am proud of my big boy." With this sentence, all the tears he had saved broke loose, and he cried while hugging his mother and then fell asleep.

No one knows the power of a mother's voice, which is strong enough to make her child tell her everything and make him/her feel at ease, so how can a mere author describe why this event occurred?

His mother patted his back while walking, saying, "You did a good job, my boy; mommy will always be happy for you."

When they eventually arrived at their house, little Andrew—who was still sleepy—was compelled to change out of his clothing and put on his pyjamas. He got dressed, ate the food his mother had made for him, and drank some milk. He ate till he was satisfied and then laid down to sleep.

Three years quickly passed as our little guy made his day-to-day journey while doing everything he wanted, like becoming friends with most of everyone in his class and making his mommy and daddy proud.

He reached 1st grade, but there was one event when another family member joined theirs—well, our little guy's experience was not so good at first but still funny as it was all due to a misunderstanding of his.

So let's find out what the event was and how it changed him.….

Hello readers, here is your shameless author. Everyone, I know I am not so good at writing, but try to feel this story; otherwise, you won't find its worth. This story might not have events from your life, but the feelings are all the same for every average guy.

I don't know about those high classes, as I've never been there before. So the feelings of this boy try to relate to them. Everyone wants to be praised when they are small, so feel it.

Yeah, I know there might be mistakes, but this is a story I am writing for myself and want you all to feel the same. The happiness, sadness, and every other emotion an average guy faces in his/her life.

Enjoy this story, guys; it's all for you.…..
