Chapter 140: The Pains of a Master I
The count floated in midair, staring down at his 'daughter' with feelings he hadn't felt in a long time.
His eyes flickered between pink and red, as he stared at her.
Lingqi's red eyes looked at him as flickering waves of killing intent washed over her making her body shake slightly, "Father?" She asked with a soft voice.
W-Why is he looking at me like that?!
After a while, Alucard's body floated down, and the killing intent that washed over her stopped abruptly, "You did well my Daughter... You're truly a Nosferatu~" His hand caressed her cheeks as she smiled, there was no way he would look at her like that. But still, her red eyes kept looking at his red ones, feeling something ominous inside as he stared at her.
"Let's go back, I still need to take care of your mother~", The count said and sent her a smile but instead of flying his shadow morphed until what materialised in front of her was a massive black reddish hound with dozens of eyes covering its body and at least five metres of height.
Its red eyes looked at her briefly and turned around, walking back through the forest gracefully but scaring any creature that dared lay its eyes on it.
Lingqi's eyes opened widely upon seeing it and her heart palpitated loudly, instinctively she ran and her body also morphed into that of the two metres black-purplish icy wolf with also at least ten eyes, lightning seemed to resonate from her body as she walked beside her father as if it was the most natural thing in the world.

When the two creatures arrived Catherine and Alcina recognised them right away.
"Master!~ Fufu~ You truly look like Father and Daughter~" She giggled and approached her daughter.
"You devoured more souls, Lingqi?~" The countess caressed her daughter's 'fur' her texture was like pieces of purple icy crystals that composed her body with red eyes scattered all over, she looked 'beautiful'.
"Yes Mother, father allowed me to fight a pack of wolves" Lingqi approached Alcina and rubbed her body only to get surprised that her two metres size was still smaller than hers!
"Uhm~" Alcina nodded and kept hugging her wolf of a daughter.
Alucard however, moved towards Catherine as she embraced him, not minding his imposing and frightening appearance, "You two really look great~" She somehow managed to caress his head, careful to not touch any of the eyes.
"It's time for us to train Catherine..." Alucard's voice didn't sound very enthusiastic.
"Alcina, take Lingqi with you to hunt somewhere and be careful to not show your true appearance, keep your nosferatu form or use your disguises, it would be troublesome if any high-ranked expert with access to the outside were to notice you..." He said intending to hunt alone with Catherine for the time being.
"Fufu~ Understood Master." Alcina giggled as her reddish shadow enveloped her body.
What appeared in front of Lingqi was a creature that could only come from Lovecraftian mythology, not that she knew what that was.
Marvelling at her mother's horrendous form that towered over her for a whopping eight metres more, the poor wolf could only let herself be bitten and dragged through the air as Alcina took the two of them in a 'familial' hunt.
'Work hard dear sister~' Those were the words she sent to Catherine finally.
And after flapping her gargantuan wings thrice, they could no longer be seen...

Alucard used his telekinesis to make Catherine's body float on top of his hound form and started walking through the forest, looking for prey.
"Where are we going husband..." Catherine asked with apprehension as her body took 'Xuannu's form as indicated before.
"To hunt", he said simply, still not feeling totally well...
"J-Just you... Or the two of us." She tried to giggle her way out of this but...
"You..." Her husband said finally.
"..."
Soon the heavy rain coated their desolate figures.

It didn't take long for Alucard to find decent enough prey.
There was a pack of animals that looked like gorillas. This should be decent enough...
The strongest of them was at the 2nd Samadhi True Fire Realm, Early Stage, this was the same cultivation stage that Catherine was at.
There were ten more, but those pitiful creatures didn't even have the time to argue about their fate before ten black spears surfaced from underground and impaled all of them mercilessly!
*SLASH!*
"UHOOOOOOHH!!!!"

"WHHAHAAAAA!!!!!"
Unintelligible noises of wails and grunts resounded shortly in this place as the three metres white gorilla stared around only to see his crew exterminated all of the sudden, not even a drop of blood touched the ground!
Alucard devoured all of their souls with an elongated breath, this place was truly better than the outside world...
It was then that came the turn for the white gorilla leader to die...
But, that wasn't his prey...
His body morphed with Catherine still on top of him, feeling quite ominous about what was to happen, and before she noticed she was in Alucard's arms, the latter had his eyes red and cold.
She looked at the gorilla and noticed it was shaking and... Frozen.
"Your training has begun Catherine... Kill this Gorilla and devour his soul." He said leaving her in total disbelief.
She panicked as sweat ran down her forehead, tightly hugging his arms!
"Husband you can't! Don't leave me, please! He's going to kill me!" However, the count was impossible...
His body phased through her arms, unwilling to push her away and floated to a nearby tree branch...
"You can't do this to me, Husband!" Catherine cried! She can't believe this! He's truly going to leave her to fight this monster alone! She hadn't even fought a person before! Let alone this!
*BANG*
*BANG*
It was then that she heard... Steps behind her...
And stared back only to open her eyes widely when the gorilla... Was right in front of her.
"Hus-!" She tried to scream but... The beast didn't let her.
*BOOMM!!!!*
The gorilla swung his massive arm, and the next thing Catherine felt was earthshaking pain all over her body, as it was flung for at least ten metres before crashing against a tree!
*BOOM!!*
Alucard could only bite his lips until they bled and remain in place.
Right now he wasn't a husband... He was a Master.
