Chapter 26: Proposal
Lin Ruoxi lead Alucard to her car but only then did she notice the Lamborghini parked beside her car... She hadn't noticed until now but...
Lamborghini Reventon, 2009, Limited Edition! this car was something that not even a billionaire could easily obtain! there were only twenty in the whole world and none of the owners was willing to sell it!
"Is this your car? You like spending your money badly don't you?" She giggled and without even asking she got in Alucard's car, "I'll drive~" and extended her hand forward, surprising Alucard quite a bit.
"Didn't you get cosy too fast princess~? Aren't you afraid that I'll take you to a dark corner and suck your blood dry?" He asked with a snicker but nevertheless threw her the keys, getting in the passenger seat.
"I'm the driver... aren't you afraid that I'll lead you to a place with people specialized in cutting wieners~" She chuckled and started the car, getting the goosebumps with the noise alone!
*BROOMM!!*
"You needn't worry, I have confidence in my wiener's survival capacity~ Let's go." Putting on his seatbelt, he let her go wherever she wanted, but the latter only flushed at his assertion, wondering what he meant.
"You were talking about blood-sucking... Are you some kind of Dracula fan or something? Only now I noticed that your name is indeed the infamous Vlad Tepes." She asked as she drove, wondering why some parents would put a child that hateful name, that was like naming your child Hitler...
"Yes, I'm the count's biggest fan, my mission is to copy his life to the tee", He said with pride.
"Yes, yes, Count Dracula~" The beautiful CEO decided to leave it at that lest she loses half her neurons together with him.
'Love, where are you?' Catherine's voice resounded in Alucard's mind, wondering why was he not there yet.
'I have a few matters to attend to, I'll be late.' He said with a mental cough, something the Queen could recognise very well.
'Does those matters include a woman?' Her cold voice came back with a vengeance.
'How the fuck does she know!?' Thousands of years had passed by and women remained the weirdest of creatures in his mind, he understood his hound better than any of them!
'Yes, I'm helping someone in need, and she's a woman... she's also the CEO of a renowned company that seeks an alliance with mine.'
'You're an almighty vampire, why do you need to create a company anyway... UGH!, I-I will wait for you alright?'
'I'll be there an hour later that's all... And maybe, we could do some of that~' The Vampire King sighed at his woman's possessiveness, but he didn't really mind it, if anything it made her sexier.

Catherine lay on her bed, with a very provocative red dress that accentuated all of her body curves, her eyes flickered between red and blue with loneliness, like an infatuated woman that couldn't live without her lover.
For the first time in her life, her worries weren't settled around her daughter. She was already grown up and could protect herself, hopefully, she would marry Yang Chen and there would be no more for her to worry about except her new lover.
The Queen looked forward to 'that' expectantly.
'Alucard, love...' She knew she fell beyond redemption and didn't mind it one bit, instead, she was looking forward to loving harder, with more passion, with more blood...

Lin Ruoxi drove in silence, enjoying the feeling of driving this Lamborghini as They soon reached a store that sold phones and national lines.
Ruoxi got Alucard the best phone and even paid for it herself.
"Here, I already put my contact in it." She said and passed him the phone.
'Ruoxi' it said with the emoticon of a cute bear. Alucard snickered at that and stored the phone in his 'pocket'.
The two sat there without saying anything, and Alucard started the car intending to lead her to the place where her Bentley was.
The two drove in silence with Ruoxi stealing glances several times.
He parked by her car and she didn't say anything else but didn't leave the car.
"Thank you, truly... Truth be told, before meeting you, I was planning to go to some bar, get drunk, possibly before committing suicide..." she suddenly said fidgeting on her spot with a complicated gaze, as tears almost left her eyes, stealing some glances, to see his reaction.
Alucard remained silent, hearing her story.
"I have always worked hard to keep my grandma's company standing upright, and always wanted to make my scum of a father happy, I don't know why but, he always hated me for some reason."
"Today I went back home late after a very important meeting, and he was there at my house, he wanted me to marry some CEO of another company, just so he could benefit from the relationship... I couldn't take it anymore, and fled."
"Do you think... I should have accepted?" She asked him with a stutter, her eyes almost at the border of crying, why was it always like that, no matter how much she worked, no one really recognised her efforts. Not her grandmother, not her mother, not her father...
Alucard sighed slightly, having heard stories like these hundreds of times, and opened his arms.
Ruoxi recognised the cue and hugged him straight away as tears left her eyes.
*SOB!*
Alucard cleaned them softly.
"Why? Why do I feel like I can tell you everything and just be myself?" This little outing of theirs was the farthest she had gone with a man, even more than her childhood friend back in college she used to have a crush on.
Alucard caressed her head softly and placed his chin on her head, "I don't know, maybe it's the aura of someone that has lived thousands of years."
Seras also asked the same back then, when she was facing issues, she would always come back to him and ask for advice.
Ruoxi smiled through her tears, his words always brought a smile out of her, "You jester! There you go again with your Count Dracula thing!"
"Tch, tch yes, I jest~" Chukled Count Dracula while softly ruffling her hair.
Suddenly her face turned serious, as if she wanted to say something but couldn't.
"What is it Ruoxi? What can be more embarrassing than what I have already seen?" He said with a snicker.
"Would... would you marry me, Vlad?"
"Eh?"
Even with all his thousand years as Count Dracula, he never expected this.
