Chapter 127: More Challenges

Jaden's face contorted as if he was in pain – which he was. Even as she was angry, she still looked breathtaking to him. There was something different about her skin. It looked as if it had received some sun over the past few days. She looked quite tanned to him and it suited her so well. He made a mental note to ask her what she had been doing being exposed to the sun.

"Don't cry, Zuri.. please don't.. Its not true… I don't know what else to say. It's not true. None of it is… she came in and-"
