Chapter 42: Jeffery In Transmere

One of the vampires who wielded a synth used the edge of his weapon to steer the boat full of full-grown men toward the shore without uttering a word. It was strange to the men as more than one man was needed to bring the boat ashore but this vampire had done it with his weapon in one hand.

"Good day, People of Transmere," Jeffery said but no response was given to him as the guard just looked into his eyes with a face carrying a stone-cold expression.
