"What was he talking about, My Prince?" Khad asked Jaden after he peeled his eyes off Kane's back, watching him strut off angrily from the throne room.

"Honestly, I don't have the time to think about what Kane must have come up with in that mind of his…" replied Jaden. "Have you put a security detail outside Zuri's room?" he asked.

Khad nodded. "Besides, I got news from Kev, My prince…"

"What is it again?" Jaden questioned exasperatedly. He was tired and only thought of his bed right now. He needed some of Zuri's tea and her hand in his – then he would drift off to sleep. His head was heavy and his eyes felt like he was in a smoky area. But Jaden knew it was because he was a little sleep deprived.

"Its your father, Your Highness…"

"My Prince!" the scream made Khad and Jaden turn heir heads toward the door as they saw a girl running in their direction.
