Chapter 80: Effect Of His Power

It was Kev who replied to the king. He rose from the kneeling position and turned to walk the door to look for the queen as the king had asked.

"I will look for her or you, Your Majesty."

"No, don't bother… I was of the impression that she would be around here, but if she's not, then…"

Albert shrugged. "She was the one who allowed me to see you, Raymond."

He nodded while he checked the wound on his chest. It had begun to heal but the healing was slow. He would need to feed more as that would speed up his healing process.

"Where are my sons? And Jessica?"

In that instant, a knock was heard on the door and Jessica walked in with her eyes opened so wide, one would think they were moons on her face.

"Father!" she yelled as she rushed to him and threw her hands around his neck.
