Valerio and Nix went silent, and awkwardness filled the atmosphere.

"Ahem!" Valerio cleared his throat. "Do you want to stop for a drink?" He asked.

"Valerio, his head is wounded—"

"It has healed Nix. It wasn't severe," Vincent looked at him, and although Nix still wanted to object, he knew he couldn't.

The rest of the ride went on in silence, and once Valerio arrived close to the bar, he turned the car around and parked.

They stepped down, shut the door, and proceeded to make their way inside.

Levian, who had just taken his shower, yawned heavily as he slipped his hands into his shirt.

He buttoned it up and moved to grab the comb from the table; however, a sudden heavy knock came at his door, causing him to halt.
