Chapter 251: I Am Afraid We Cannot

"I don't know. I am clueless as well." Nix shook his head with a devastated look on his face.

"So this could have been caused by that head injury from then?" Valerio inquired, and Nix nodded his head at him.

"Probably. I don't really know," Nix replied. "I was very sure that I treated her well. I just can't tell what is going on." He pinched his brows and sat down on the couch.

"So... what is going to happen to her now?" Valerio asked.

"I am not sure. She might or might not wake up. At this point, there is nothing we can do other than wait." Nix responded and sighed deeply.

Valerio ran his fingers through his hair, unwilling to believe it.

"Again! I have to freaking wait again!" He yelled, completely furious, and Everly immediately grabbed a hold of him to calm him down.
