Chapter 17: Punishment
Am so sorry for not updating, my phone spoilt so I just got another one.. am sorry again, and I'll make up for the list times.

"Running away?" a metallic voice said. She froze on the spot
Her heart raced as she slowly turned to face the owner of the voice, and her eyes widened in shock.
Thousands of soldiers we standing behind the owner of the voice which she heard.
A..are they here just...just to bring her back??...
"please come with us." the man who spoke earlier said. Ava swallowed her saliver before nodding in response.
She'ld be a dead meat of she refuses to do as she's asked.
Her escape can hold on, she must think of a way to answer to their leader, the person who saved and brought her here.
These were the thought going through her mind as she walked along the path they created for her.
"please wait here." the man who spoke earlier said once they arrived in front of a big room. She nodded and her opened the door to enter.
Ava looked around the corridor. Everything is painted in white, and the carvings which were in the walls looks ancient yet magnificent. The carvings were of a young lady standing up high in the air, and she rained down fire.
People and homes were destroyed, and by the farther left was a young lad, looking up at the young lady. His upper clothes seem to be ripped leaving him with his pants.
On the next carving the lady stretched her arms like she was about raining fire on him. and that's where the carvings ended. "wow." Ava sighed as she loked on the smooth empty walls beside the carvings which were painted in white making it a sight to behold at night.
The bright moon kissing every part part of the the painted matter. From the pillars to the tiles and to the walls, causing it to shine, lighting up the dark corridor.
She mavelled at how exquisite this place is, even with how simple it is. the cool breeze dancing in the atmosphere completed everything. She closed her eyes to savor the calmness of the breeze which kissed every part of her body, gently blowing her onyx black hair causing it to dance to the tune of the cool breeze, but her peace was interrupted when the door opened bring her back to reality. "You may go in." the man nodded at her.
She didn't know why but her heart raced than usual, at the mare thought of entering this room.
Yes, she knows she's in trouble, but her heart has never beaten this fast before. She sucked a deep breath then released it. She looked at the man who asked her to enter, as if asking if she should really go in, and he nodded to her as though he understood what she wasn't conveying. She nodded again then opened the door and entered.
The room was Soo dark, that she had to squint her eyes to at least see who she will be talking to.
His dark Raven hair shined so bright in the dark room. his back was facing her so she couldn't see his face.
He was putting on a simple black robe, and a black coat on top. He still has his shoes on, so she's guessing he just returned from wherever he went to.
Does he loves black this much??
She found herself thinking.
His aura was calm, yet she felt intimidated. and she held her breath when he turned around to face her. "welcome back." his cold voice made her shiver.
He's so huge that she felt she would shrink of he comes closer. she could only stare at him like a spell was fast in her, not to take her face away form his. He took a step forward, staring intently Into her red crimson orbs, and Ava could feel her heart pounding really hard and fast. A sly smirk tugged at the corner of his lips and he took another store forward. He was just there feet close from her, and like the spell was finally broken, her eyes widened and she took multiple steps backwards without stopping untill her back touched the door. Once her back touched the door, he halted on his track. "Tsh.." he shakes his head a little slowly. "What punishment am I giving you?" he asked as he turned and walked to the open window and gazed up at the ever so bright moon, making his hair glim in the dim room. Ava realeased a little of the breath she has been holding. She didn't say anything, as she just started at his back. "Do you know what I do to people who betrays me?" his voice hard and she felt the hairs on her body stand.
but...but she didn't betray him..She never worked for him..Soo..
"Princess Ava of Cestan.." he added, and a tin line curved in his lips.
What?? He..he also knows me...!!
Her eyes widened in surprise as she could only stare at his back.
"Should I give you my punishment?" his cold voice rang and he turned to look at her. there was seriousness in his tone and that made Ava really uncomfortable, or scared rather..
His punishment..
His punishment..
His words echoed loudly in her mind..
"i-i-...am sorry..i-i- just needed to save a loved one who is in danger.." She almost chocked while she spoke. she just wants him to understand the cause for her action. "A loved one.." he said raising a brow, like he was installing it into his memory, and she nodded like a rattle, hoping he would understand. An evil smirk curved on his beautiful face and Ava felt cold crawled on her skin. subconsciously she wrapped her hands around her arms.
Suddenly the door behind opened, but since she was leaning on the wall she fell backwards, but she felt strong arms around her waist.
Enzo straightened he before leaving he to stand. "thank you." she said lowly, as her head hung low. "please come with me." he said totally ignoring the man standing at the window like he wasn't in the room.
Ava averted her gaze to look at the man at the window, but he didn't say anything, neither did he make a move. She looked back to the guy In front of her. "W..where are we going to?" She managed to ask. "please.." he ignorred her question and stepped outside waiting for her to do the same. Slowly she stepped out of the room, and they both walked away.
Enzo halted once they were in front of a room. He turned to her "this will be you're room." he said and her eyes widened..
Do..do thay plan on trapping her here??
or...or is this the punsihment? to trap her here??
different thought swamed across her mind.
Then she must quickly think of a way to leave this place. "w-w-what do you mean?" She chocked out..
"Mia will tell you everything you need to know.." he said leaving her alone in the dark corridor.
Ava was deep in thought when a familiar voice brought her back to the present.
Mia..
"You're still around" Mia said more like a statement, but Ava could pin point the mocking in her Tone.
Ava could only shake her head and laugh at herself before lifting her head to look at Mia. "You knew all along.." Ava scoffed. "Don't blame me, I warned you.." Mia retort folding her arms in her chest. "then why didn't you tell me!!" Ava half yelled. She was bubbling I'm anger. Her only chance to save Lydia and thana was ruined, but she won't give up. the only reason she's calm is because she hasn't got any uneasy feelings, and that assured her a little that they were safe atleast for now.
"Am sorry.." Mia sighed defeatedly.
Ava seem to have calm down knowing that Lydia and thana are safe for now. She sighed "I know. you were just following orders.." Ava sighed again. "let go inside." Mia opened the door.
Once they were seated in the bed, Mia opened her mouth to speak but Ava spoke first. "why am I here??" she asked looking at Mia.
Mia looked intently at her for a couple of seconds then spoke up. "you are his highnesses personal maid."
