Chapter 15: "he's not my husband!"
Thana looked expectedly at Lydia for answers. "uhm..we..you're moma asked us to stay here for a while till she come gets us?" Lydia said with a little smile which vanished almost immediately. "and does moma knows that you're husband is here?" She asked again, as she glanced at Axel when she said 'you're husband' then back to Lydia. "uhm..y-yes" Lydia chocked out. "Are you guys getting together?" she asked again, as her eyes glimed and she smiled. Lydia eyes widened at the question, and Axel was taken aback, as he stared blankly at thana and then Lydia, like he already knew what her answers would be. "uhm...you should be hungry, let go eat." Lydia managed to smile as she took thana's hand as she rose up. "Auntie.." thana called gently, after a long stare at Lydia. "hum" Lydia looked down at her. "Are you alright?" She asked, as she looked intently at Lydia. "Ah..Auntie is just having a slight headache, but I will be fine alright?" Lydia gave her a wild smile. thana nodded in response and they both walked out. they had walked a little further when thana suddenly halted. "What is it?" Lydia asked panickingly as she crouched down to thana's height. "Where is you're husband?" She looked around I'm search of Axel. Lydia was taken aback, at the word 'you're husband' She never said he is her husband so..
"I don't know where he is and he's not my husband." She said gently, but her eyes reflected the opposite. "but he said he's you're-"
"he's not my husband!" Lydia half yelled, and thana flinched a little. Upon realizing this Lydia sighed out then closed he eyes to calm herself. She opened her eyes, which now gazed tenderly at thana. "Am sorry for yelling at you, and let not talk about him when we're together Alright?" She said softly, and thana nodded in response.
'Highness, you're presence is needed Axel heard Inez's voice.. 'Where are you?' he communicated back. 'At the imperial court he replied. 'I'll be there' Axel said, then he looked at Lydia and thana as they left the room, and when they were out he communicated to Zak. 'Make sure to stay beside them always'. He said sternly 'yes, you're highness.' Zak replied in same tone, and with that Axel vanished from the room.

Upon Axel's arrival everyone stood up to greet him. "Greetings you're highness!" they all chorused with their hands extended forward and their right palm kissed the back of their left palm, and their head a little low. "Rise, everyone." he said and walked to the medium sized chair which was by the right of in the court. "thank you, you're highness!" they chorused as they took their seats. "and may I know the reason for this meeting?" his cold voice echoed one he was seated. "You're highness, we are all aware of everything thing that has been going lately in Eston." A highly ranked official spoke. Axel already got a hint on what he was talking about. "And what are you implying?" he asked staring intently at him. "Lady Lydia who was captured by Lord Keon, is supposed to be in the prison so as to disclose the whereabouts of the stone Jade, but she's with you, and we are expecting an answer but we've received none." He said boldly yet respectfully. "So what do you suggest I do?" Axel rested his arm on the armrest, and he sat back crossing his legs like he was about watching an interesting show. His eyes were calm but his Stern voice held something hidden in it, causing the man who has just finished talking to shiver a little. "I..we just need to locate the whereabouts of the stone Jade.." he stammered a little at the beginning. "Fine then, you can locate it." Axel Smirked, but his smirk disappeared when the man spoke again. "thank you you're highness, then shall I order lady Lydia to be brought here?" he asked, and he sounded confident. Axel knew what this man wanted to cause, thankfully he's better at this game. An evil smirk curved on his lips as his Jade black orbs glimed with darkness, and he stood up.
He walked towards the man, then halted when he was right beside him. His aura which was calm a while ago now oozed with deadly darkness and screamed danger. The man gasped for breath.
his face red as tomatoes, he quickly knelt down and managed to lower his head. His black Jade orbs which is now void of emotion fell down to look at the kneeing man before he walked out leaving the man to choke.
Of course no one dared to come to his aid, else they will suffer the same fate, so every other official could do nothing but watch. Inez followed Axel and they both walked out. "H-highness.." He called unsure if he should continue, but he mustered the courage to do so this he spoke.
"Highness, I think you should make up you're mind. the officals will surely report this to the king, and I fear he will order her lady's arrest." Inez tried to sound respectful. "then i don't mind, defying the King's order." he smirked. "Highness, how about taking her somewhere far from here." Inez suggested. Axel only nodded as they kept walking..
He halted when he heard the soft laugh. turning his head to the direction he stilled and a small line formed on his lips as he stared at Lydia.
"Eat slowly, don't choke you're self." She laughed. "Auntie.. am..am very hungry." Thana said with her mouth filled with food and she put another stick of valmon in her mouth. "Try it, it really good." Thana handed one stick of valmon to Lydia who collected it and chewed. "Taste good right?" thana winked then she coughed. "Easy.." Lydia said and she gave her a cup of water.
thana accepted the water and gulped it in one go. "Uncle, can you give me more to take to my room?" thana looked up at Zak. "thana.." Lydia called and gave her a meaningful look. "I just want more, I love it." thana pouted as she took another stick from the plate and chewed. "it alright, I will bring to your room later today.." Zak said. "thanks uncle.." thana beamed and Zak smiled upon seeing the girl's happy face.
Since she has been in Eaton she hadn't smiled or even come out of her room. but now that Lydia is here, he's sure that at least for now they will be happy. Zak lifted his head to look sideways as he had sensed a presence..
