As Jay was about to return to his seat after serving Mrs Royce, he noticed Alex descending the stairs, engrossed in his phone. Suddenly, Alex stumbled, almost losing his balance and tumbling down the stairs. Without hesitation, Jay sprang into action rushing forward to catch him just in time.
"Careful, bro!" Jay exclaimed, his voice filled with concern as he steadied Alex. Alex, visibly relieved to have avoided a fall, looked up at Jay with gratitude written all ovet his face. "Oh my God,what a narrow escape! Thank you, buddy", he exclaimed, his relief evident in his voice as he hugged Jay tightly.
In that unexpected moment, the bond between the two brothers-in-law grew stronger, forged by Jay's quick reflexes and Alex's heartfelt appreciation.
