Chapter 187: Ch.21
We used Soru until we arrived at another rock formation and took a break for dinner. A bounty hunter came out asking about us seeing Time-skip Sabo and I told him he went to another island after we arrived. He looked heartbroken until his kids showed up so I gave them a sack of senzu beans and told them one bean would keep them full for three days and nights.
They tried them out and thanked us with tears in their eyes before leaving on the back of an ostrich. We walked a bit this time until Luffy ate a cactus and Zoro and I beat him down.
The others had left without us except Chopper who I was still carrying. Sighing when Chopper woke both Luffy and Zoro up after they knocked each other out, I told them the others went on ahead.
Luffy grabbed us and rocketed into a cave until Zoro and I landed and fell through below into a cavern. I got up and stored the poneglyph while Luffy and Chopper fell through. Grabbing the three idiots I used shigan multiple times to blow a hole in the roof with several finger pistol attacks before carrying them through and out.
I called Nami and got their direction before using Soru to the extreme and catching up to them as the sun set. I mentioned finding a giant stone square in the cave and took it out for Vivi to see but she couldn't read it so it was pointless.
I put it away and sat down to get comfortable. Luffy wanted food so Sanji fried up some sea king meat while we got comfortable for the night. The next evening we made it to Yuba but the entire place was dried up with only a single old man digging an old canal.
He told us we could bunk down for the night and I waved Luffy and the rest off. They went inside to rest and eat while I knocked the old man out and summoned my house elves. I told them to clean up and repair the town before setting up a ward scheme around it.
While they got to work, I vanished tons of sand to dig up the canal and as soon as the Yuba waters were collected into barrels, I refilled the entire canal with a massive water summoning spell that pulled it not just from the atmosphere but from the ground and underground reserves. The entire canal filled up in moments and wards were put around it for automatic collection.
I then went to the plants and reached deep within myself for the powers I'd had locked away so long ago and pulled them out to revive and grow the grass, trees and shrubs. Over night Yuba became a paradise once more and I sat beside the canal in silence as the night passed and day came while my elves returned having repaired the entire city.
I let go of my plant powers and they resealed themselves without a proper primer from this world or any newer ones reminding me to head back to the DC universe so that I might mimic poison Ivy's powers for my own to come back. The crew woke up and the old man followed after I splashed water on his face.
They came out as he came around and each saw the paradise of Yuba once more. Hell, I'd even put some fresh water fish and algae in the canal to sustain them. A small turtle popped out of the water and I chuckled. "So this is what Yuba is meant to be. I like it."
Luffy laughed and jumped into the water while Vivi and old man Toto were crying. He called it a miracle but I shrugged it off saying. "I dug up an underwater reservoir and it filled up the canal. I don't know where the animals came from but the plants seemed to grow back quickly after that. If it's a miracle, I'm ok with that. I spent all night cleaning up the town after that and repairing the buildings as best I could."
I stood up and brushed the sand off my shorts. "I'm beat so I'm gonna grab some breakfast and a shower before we head out. With the waters here I made my own thank you."
I went inside a neighboring house and grabbed a shower before making breakfast for the whole group. It was a rare occasion that I cooked anymore so I added some body strengthening medicines to the juices and served the meal. They ate like lions and I left the old man a stasis bag filled with sea king meat as well as another bag full of senzu beans.
I explained the beans and he happily accepted them before letting us take a barrel of Yuba water and thanking me personally. Seeing the wards I defy anyone not a god to break it as it was tied to three hundred ward stones buried under ground.
Yuba would flourish for another ten thousand years no matter the trials now. We set off happier than we arrived and several yards into our walk Luffy sat down and quit.
I shrugged and sat down beside him against the tree. He and Vivi had it out until she decided to risk our lives as well. After all that's what friends were for. We'd all felt a bit useless to her as we are pirates and not some freedom fighters or peace core.
With Rainbase as our new destination, we set out with using Soru to get there by the next morning. All of us hailed ass and most of the crew perfected their Soru and Geppo training by night fall. We had one last night of rest before reaching Rainbase the next morning.
As soon as we arrived Luffy and Usopp ran for fresh water supplies. Minutes later I took ten thousand berry and headed to the casino to get information on Crocodile. I played a dozen games and couldn't seem to lose. Even the dealers were freaking out as I'd turned the ten thousand berry ten billion in under ten minutes soon enough I doubled down on a blackjack deal and doubled my funds before doing it five more times and telling the dealer I'd like to cash out.
I was officially owed six hundred and forty billion berry. The casino went bankrupt in under half an hour and I cleaned them out for the three hundred billion berry they did have on hand by the time Luffy and the others arrived.
The manager, Robin, made an appearance and I chuckled after taking all the money and gold into my ring. "You know, we gotta stop meeting like this. Me robbing the place and you working for said place I'm robbing. You should think about joining me instead."
She smiled. "Crocodile isn't the type of man I want to cross."
I shrugged. "Neither am I. So, what's you're thing? I'm a swordsman myself but I dabble in other things like cooking and carpentry as well as medicine."
She smiled. "I'm an archeologist."
I smiled. "Oh, that's cool. I found this weird square stone out in the desert with ancient looking writing on it. Care to take a look? It's quite big so I had to store it in my ring and there's no room in here for it."
I looked around while Luffy and the others were let into the VIP room. Robin looked shocked but nodded almost immediately before saying. "I will in a couple days if my current employment doesn't pan out. Do stick around Bloodsword Ace."
I smiled. "I will Nico Robin. I've a keen interest in you."
She stilled while her eyes narrowed and tried to summon her arms on my body. I covered myself in Haki and touched her face. "Don't worry, I'd never hurt you. I just wanted a bit of honesty between us."
I let her go and smiled sadly before leaving with Soru. Outside I targeted the Baroque Works people chasing the rest of the crew and cut them down while searching with magic to kill all Baroque Works bounty hunters in the city besides the numbered agents.
In a burst of Soru and shigan, I slaughtered them all in mere moments. All that was left was the marines who were looking at the bloodbath in silent gobsmacked expressions. Tashigi came forwards as I stood before the bodies and she asked. "How could you slaughter all these innocent-"
I snorted. "Innocent my ass. They're all working for Baroque Works. Each of them are the reason this country is at war. Crocodile is their leader as Mr.0 and he used these people and many more to infiltrate the rebellion and the imperial soldiers to instigate the war itself. He's used his logia fruit the sand-sand fruit to dry up all the water in this country and used Dance powder in the capital to frame the king for it. Feel free to check their bodies as each one of them has the Baroque Works tattoo on them. Not very smart if you ask me but hey, not many do."
Tashigi stilled at the implications and snorted. "Why? Why would a respected warlord-"
I growled. "Because he's a pirate you half wit! He wants to depose the king and take over or else some other hidden plot he's keeping under wraps. The sand sand fruit must be weak to water so he's making a perfect kingdom of sand where he'll be all powerful. Geez it's like I have to spell it out for you."
I used Soru and appeared in front of her with my blade at her throat before saying. "If I were the real bad guy I'd just kill you right now instead of giving you leads to follow. Do you Damn job and leave my crew alone or next time I'll end you."
I used Conquerers Haki on her people, knocking them out before using Soru once more. Sanji and Chopper were the only ones not caught at the moment as I sensed Robin taking Vivi to Crocodile.
I put away my Haki and Sanji asked while lighting a cigarette. "Was this your doing?"
I nodded. "They all work for Crocodile so I spared only a handful. It's time you use your Mr.Prince persona and gain Crocodile's ire once more."
He smiled and picked up the transponder snail. After Chopper changed to his heavy point form he beat up the last few guys and made them call Crocodile out after I fired off a gun to make it seem as if Sanji was killed.
Sanji and I went back inside for a meal while Robin and Crocodile went outside. Vivi had found us and was laying low as well. Once they passed, I led them downstairs and saw the bananagators piling in the room. I patted Sanji's shoulder and he nodded while we hopped down together.
Smoker was in a sea stone cell with the rest of our crew and Chopper was leading away Crocodile. When smoker told us which one to beat up, I took the rest into my inner galaxy and put them on their own world with plenty of food to eat.
Sanji looked surprised but I just tapped my ring saying. "They're dead and inside here for meals later."
Luffy cheered about gator meat and Sanji beat the last one up, knocked a wax ball out of it along with the key stuck to the ball's shell. I stored the now dead hater for later as well and Vivi hopped down to us. Sanji took the key and tried while failing to open the cage since it was the wrong key. I told them to stand back and drew my black soul swords.
I gritted my teeth and cut a door into the cage. I was drained from the effort as I'd covered practically my whole soul in Haki to prevent a chip in my blades. I put them away and Zoro looked at me seriously before mumbling about getting stronger. I smirked and told them to follow the back passage while I make sure no one follows.
They left in a hurry and I took the sea stone cage into my swords pocket dimension to be consumed so as to strengthen my blades further. Grinning, I ran as the whole place collapsed around me. I cut a door into the glass and swam to the surface using Geppo. Luffy and the others made it out as well and Smoker barely did so after Zoro was ordered to save him.
I chuckled and sat down laughing at the fun it was to destroy the place. Half of Raindinners collapsed into the water nearly taking Robin and Crocodile with it. They'd barely been saved by an invisible spelled rune I put on Robin's cheek.
We left the area as the marines came running and Smoker let us go unsurprisingly. We got out of town and started our trek towards Alubarna, the capital of Alabasta. Chopper and and Lashes, the camel, met us just outside of town on the back of a giant moving crab.
We all hopped on and took off while Chopper introduced us to it. Not a minute later a hook came and tried to take Vivi away. Luffy grabbed it and tossed her back telling us to keep going. I used time skip on all but him and handed him a bag of Senzu beans and the water from Yuba saying. "Water is his weakness. Get him wet and beat the shit out of him. The beans will heal you up. Be sure to get to Alubarna as fast as you can Luffy."
He grinned and nodded before I hopped back onto the crab and started time again. It appeared as if I'd skipped time forwards a bit as Luffy was dragged away. I told Chopper coldly. "This is Luffy's fight. We have our own up ahead so full speed."
Zoro gave his speech to Vivi and she yelled for Luffy to follow us after he kicked Crocodile's ass. He agreed and we were long gone before the fight even started. A couple hours of traveling later and the River was in sight. The girls had sped up the crab by appealing to his perv ways just like Sanji and the camel.
It got us half way there before sinking and we were forced to swim until a giant catfish appeared. I was about to cut it in half when the Kung fu Dugongs showed up and did the job for me. We hopped onto one half of the giant fish and the Dugongs pulled it to the opposite shore.
I chuckled and gave them the basics for the six powers and told them to keep guarding the ship but that I'd teach them something more interesting if they did a good job. They saluted me and I handed pouches of senzu beans to each of the group while Nami laid out our plans I agreed to go with Vivi and slaughter the Baroque Works men while she settles everything with the rebellion.
The super sonic duck squadron showed up and gave us rides to the capital. I hung back with Vivi for a bit until the others made it in and reminded her of the beans if she or her duck was injured before going my own way.
I went to the capital walls and did a simple yet powerful spell to identify all Baroque Works members by their tattoos. Once I had all the non officers scouted out, I moved using Soru and killed them all over the next ten minutes before the battle had even begun to convene.
Once I finished, I headed to where Vivi was as she seemed to have stopped the rebels since there was little to no interference from the hidden Baroque Works agents. One more spell and a mass slaughter saw the rebels cleansed of the Baroque Works members and I appeared before Koza, the leader of the rebels.
Smiling I told him. "Check their bodies. Each one has a Baroque Works tattoo and Baroque Works is an organization run by Crocodile to cause this conflict. I just cleaned the capital of several hundred of them as well. Crocodile wants this conflict so that he can depose the king and take over. He's used you all and if you continue in this campaign you'll all be too dead to matter. Lay down your arms and follow the princess inside and you'll have my guarantee Alabasta and your people will see hop returned to you once more."
I turned a nodded to Vivi before using Soru and leaving them there. The Baroque Works members were all dead as far as I could tell and Koza would kill anyone who tried to harm her so there was that. I headed towards the biggest conflict at the moment and found Usopp and Chopper fighting a mole woman, a dog cannon bazooka and a big strong dimwit.
I pulled out a bag of fruit and smiled before using Soru and tickling the dogs nose before shoving it's head down a mole hole. It fired multiple balls down the hole before I tossed it in as well and used Soru and grabbed my two crew members before getting the hell out of there.
Down in the hole the dog kept sneezing as it was covered in dust and sand now so the balls kept coming. Hell, my observation haki kept going off until I was in the city with both of them. The blast was like a mini nuke from fall out going off and the bag i was carrying received two new devil fruits moments later.
I checked it to be sure before smiling and feeding them both devil fruits. Usopp had been in the worst condition but with one bean he was fine again at full health. He groaned and whined. "I dropped my bag of senzu beans down one of those damn mole holes and forgot about Soru."
I chuckled. "Well maybe next time don't forget and be more careful."
Chopper hugged me and cried. "They wouldn't let me heal Usopp and kept hitting him. I was so scared Ace-kun!"
I patted his head and sighed. "Get stronger then and next time you won't need my help. Why don't you two go help Sanji if you can find him as I'm sure he'll probably be needing a senzu bean soon anyways and I'll go see whom I can help."
They nodded and I used Soru to go find Zoro. I found him barely saving Nami from being split into five by sword ki from Mr.1 and sighed. "You two ok?"
Nami cried out. "Ace, haha, you two are so screwed now."
I frowned and told her. "Lead the female away Nami. I won't interfere in your fights unless you want me to but you need them to get stronger so don't act like a child. At some point the strongest of us will fall trying to protect the weaker crew and it'll mean all our deaths. Sigh, just do what you can and I'll keep death away if I'm able to."
She looked appalled, sad, resigned then determined before nodding and hitting the woman before running away to get some distance between them. I asked Zoro. "Do you need me to hold your hand as well Zoro?"
He chuckled. "Not in this lifetime Ace."
I nodded. "Mr.Assassin, let me taste your sword devil fruit and I'll leave you both to fight and die in peace if that's your fate."
Zoro backed off and Mr.1 turned and swing his hand at me. I caught his finger blades with my barely visible armament haki and smiled as I gained his powers before jumping back. "Thank you. Best of luck Zoro and remember your beans afterwards."
He nodded and I used Soru to follow Nami. I found her fighting and using her staff efficiently while taking a bit of damage before secretly summoning a thunder cloud and electrocuting Miss Doublefinger who had the spike-spike fruit. It was a paramicia type devil fruit that turned the users body into a cactus like ability user.
It clearly wasn't in an awakened state, a state where the user advances the abilities of the fruit beyond it's normal scope of powers. Where zoan fruits turned the users into animals like the mole-mole and mutt-mutt fruits I just got, the paramicia changes the users body into a material or concept.
The last type, the logia was like Crocodiles sand-sand fruit that turns it's owner into an element and allows them to manipulate that specific element around them. They all have their strengths and weaknesses like sand and water or lightning and rubber.
Seeing Nami win barely, I fed her a senzu bean and told her to go make sure Zoro ate a bean afterwards. She took off with her own pouch and I flicked my wrist, sending a bullet finger through Miss Doublefinger's head and ending the assassin.
I used fiend fire to burn her body and smiled when the spike-spike fruit made an appearance in my back of fruits. Like the others I switched them out and went to end a certain sniper duo and destroy a bomb in the clock tower. Killing them was easy enough and after I grabbed the bomb, I took it far into the middle of the desert and left the corpses of the two agents next to it before heading back.
I chuckled and went into the palace where Koza and Vivi were both in pain as Crocodile and Robin were holding King Cobra hostage. I coughed and got their attention before smiling at Robin. "Love, we've gotta stop meeting like this, it's getting to be a habit."
Robin blushed a bit while Crocodile snorted and sent a sand blade to me. I stopped it with my haki before snorting. "Yeah, I'm not your opponent, he is."
I pointed my finger to the incoming pissed off Luffy enjoy screamed. "Crocodile!"
He drenched himself in water this time and through the barrel at Crocodile. I chuckled and gave Vivi and Koza a bean before shooing them away. "Make sure nobody gets near here. It's going to be bloody."
They looked back at the king and I chuckled. "Vivi, I'm here, he'll be fine I promise now go or you might get caught up in their attacks."
They reluctantly left while Robin giggled. "Making promises you can't keep to other woman, I should be jealous."
I shook my head. "Not in this world no. So, what say we watch the fight and I promise not to interfere either way even if Luffy losses so long as you promise not to do anything rash like threaten the king's life when he's already bound?"
She looked me over before nodding and I turned to watch the fight. Luffy gave it his all and really hurt Crocodile this time even so far as to soak him and beat him around but in the end the hooks came off as they say or they would if they could see Crocodile take the gold hook sheath off the sea stone and sand scorpion poisoned hook underneath where his hand was meant to be.
Head really had his hand cut off at some point and now he was a real like Captain Hook with sand powers. Luffy got himself stabbed with the hook and sucked dry after firing a water ball from his mouth at Crocodile's face.
Crocodile turned to me and I shrugged. "You win, go ahead. A promise is a promise after all."
He passed me by and went with Robin before trying to use his hook on me. I snorted and twisted his arm, forcing the hook to his own neck. "I'm not my brother Crocodile, I don't play fair and I always kill my opponents. Don't be my opponent when I'm letting you go and keeping my word to Robin."
I released him and snorted. "You arrogant Logia users think your safe in paradise. I may be a rookie but I sure as hell am not afraid to kill you to make a point."
I cut his cheek with my sword covered in haki before his eyes went wide and I withdrew it. I turned and headed towards Luffy again while Crocodile grumbled and had Robin follow him.
I waited until the water came back down and rehydrated Luffy before feeding him a senzu bean and warning him. "It won't get the poison out but it'll slow down it's progress. You've lost twice it seems and I need to know, are you finally ready to beat him?"
He nodded. "Yeah. That stupid Gator is going down."
I sighed. "I'm that case I'll be watching and waiting to see you win."
He nodded again and we headed inside to a narrow secret passage below the garden stones. It spiraled downwards into an ancient tomb that housed a poneglyph. Sighing as Robin finished giving Crocodile the work around and fighting him a bit, I watched Luffy engage him in battle once more.
Robin was injured and poisoned as well so I gave her a senzu bean and a nanite pill before having her and Cobra stand beside me. Luffy and Crocodile's fight got out of hand so I was forced to cut the falling stone blocks that fell around us into fragments until Luffy, using his own blood, beat Crocodile senseless and won finally.
Smiling, I caught Luffy as he fell and fed him a Senzu bean before Robin injected him with the antidote for the scorpion venom. Luffy told me to save her and Cobra before passing out so I tossed him over my shoulder and got them out before the whole tomb collapsed.
Crocodile was in a crater topside now and once we were topside too, Robin smiled sadly and told me she'd be seeing me about the second Poneglyph soon enough. I nodded and let her go to the king's surprise and he asked. "Is she with you?"
I shook my head. "Not yet but someday I hope. The world government put a bounty on her for being a citizen that survived their massacre of O'Hara. She's been running and trying to find out the history of the void century to discover why they killed her people all those years ago. After all, wouldn't you do the same if all the world government left you was dead bodies and a burning kingdom just for knowing how to read a dead language?"
He looked shocked before mumbling something and patting my shoulder. "Good luck with that one."
I nodded solemnly and swore to protect her if all else failed. The king watched the mushroom cloud in the desert go off before patting my shoulder and having Vivi and the guards arrange rooms for the crew. Chopper and the rest showed up while I told him Luffy's condition and concluded it was mental exhaustion from fighting at the edge of death for so long.
Zoro looked happier than ever and was back to training with me only this time it was far more serious as he'd unlocked both observation and armament haki though barely and neither stayed focused and on for long.
I whipped him into shape for the next two days while the others practiced and I taught Chopper the six powers. I secretly fed Luffy a mind pill that would go towards helping him strengthen his haki and mental capacities later.
He woke up two days later in a food frenzy and ate everything the cooks had as a snack. I chuckled and showed him the giant sea king I was roasting outside his window and he practically devoured it or attempted to anyways.
When he was done we all sat down for a food party and had a great time. When the king mentioned rewards I told him. "Don't sweat it, I got three devil fruits and three hundred billion belly from Baroque works along the way."
Nami's eyes turned into belly signs and she called me big brother while begging to see the cash. I chuckled and gave all but a billion berry's to her. (If it's not obvious by now Berry is the one piece world's currency.)
She looked like she was in heaven but I told her to put it away and stop causing a ruckus. She asked about the last billion but I snorted. "It's going to the relief efforts for the villages hit by the draught all year. It may have been raining for the last two days but Alabasta still needs help the money can provide."
I turned to the king who was a bit surprised and handed his guards the money and two devil fruits telling them. "They're the mutt-mutt fruit and the mole-mole fruit respectively. Both can be sold or given to the royal guards or someone more deserving as you see fit but they should be useful to rebuilding your kingdom however you use them."
The king thanked me and the crew for our efforts and generosity. Later that evening we were in the males bathroom showering while I washed Choppers fur out when the king bowed to us. I chuckled and shook my head while the royal guard, Igaram, who'd finally arrived, admonished him.
The king said there was no such thing as a naked king so I chuckled and tossed Igaram a devil fruit with a smile. "Eat it and you'll be a true protector of the royal family from now on. It'll give you the strength you need to always fight for your country and king."
He asked. "What fruit is it?"
I grinned. "Mythical zoan dog-dog model: Cerberus fruit. Don't thank me, none of the crew wanted it and it was to dangerous to sell so yeah, enjoy."
Igaram are it before frowning and nodding as he thanked me again for our help. The king did the same before Sanji asked him where the ladies bath was. I hit him over the head and he didn't even flinch as the king actually told him it was just over the side wall.
I shook my head and washed off while they all got nose bleeds excluding Chopper. Sanji asked if I was into men because I didn't look and I smacked him upside the head before shaking my head. "I'm just not a pervert like you all. Besides, neither Vivi nor Nami are the woman I wish to see. They're not my type. Vivi is too shy and innocent while Nami is her opposite. Neither appeal to me much either way. Even if I found them attractive I wouldn't peek like a creepy pervert, I'd ask them out on a date and when they're ready I'd take them not perv over a wall and shamelessly consider myself a gentleman."
Sanji got angry at that but another chip to the head had him rolling on the ground and seeing naked woman. I shook my head and rinsed off before leaving the nose bleeders to do the same. Chopper followed me as he didn't have the instincts yet to mate for being so young and even then they weren't of the same species.
Later that night Luffy decided it was time for us to leave and I agreed. We got a call from Bon Clay who'd convinced the Kong Fu dugongs to allow him to move the ship up the river stream.
After leaving Vivi a note we left in the night with all the supplies we needed for the ship. We used the super sonic duck squadron to get to the ship an hour later and met Mr.2 and the dugongs. I thanked them and taught them the basics of Haki in their minds before we boarded and Mr.2 caused a scene.
I ignored it as I began folding my aura an haki like hot steel to forge a katana. Each fold got rid of minute flaws as I repeated the process over and over again until I poured more mental and spiritual energy into it making my haki flare up over and over again.
By the time we reached the coast they'd come up with a plan whilst I whistled and summoned the now peak black gold rank Kame. He surfaced his head nearby and I told home to hook up and take us out. He gurgled in happiness and did so.
Chuckling, I watched as I drew my swords to get rid of the cannon balls that flew near us. Zoro, Sanji and Luffy joined in until Bon Clay trucked the navy and broke the blockade for us at sunrise. Vivi gave her speech and we raised our arms in salute to our friendship before Luffy declared. "Take us out!"
Kame heard him and went full speed through the opening Bon Clay made for us. We were faster then a steam engine and way more durable as the wards kicked on and bounced the cannon balls back at our attackers to everyone's surprise.
I chuckled and heard Robin's giggle that startled the hole crew. She made Luffy take responsibility for saving her life and asked to join the crew. I smirked as she asked me when Luffy said yes. "You didn't think I'd let you get away did you?"
I just smiled and shook my head. "I should be asking you that Robin."
She shivered and I told Chopper. "You can bunk in my room for now. Nami and Robin can share a cabin and no Sanji, she's not sleeping in your room."
He looked heartbroken and angry that I told him how it was but bit his tongue and held it in. Shaking my head I turned to Zoro and nodded. He and I went to train while everyone else got to know Robin. Every now and then he asked what I knew about her until I told him the story of O'Hara in the west blue and it's destruction.
I told him about the one lone survivor and the stories of her being hunted by the navy while trying to fulfill her dreams and what the navy did to all those who helped her. When I finished, Robin was there with half the crew who were looking at her.
I sighed. "I learned of your past while looking for my own. My full legal name is Portgas D. Ace but my paternal name is Gol D. Ace after my biological father, Gol D. Roger."
Their jaws dropped and Luffy commented. "Whaaa Ace you're Gold Roger's son! So cool!"
I shook my head and snorted while karate chopping his head. "And your one to talk. Old man Garp is your grandfather and the hero of the navy who fought my father so long ago. Your biological father is Monkey D. Dragon, leader of the revolutionary army."
The crew were shocked senseless and Robin giggled after a while before I turned to her. "The reason I sought you out is because we have a lot in common you and I. The navy will never stop hunting either of us once they find out who I am. Luffy is safe for now because of Garp but neither of us have that protection. My own birth was a crime the world nobles would have washed away with my blood and your circumstances aren't much different."
She nodded and stood in front of me before nodding. "Hai, we can start slow."
I smiled and told her. "Then I'll take you out on the town at the first island we land on."
She agreed and we started talking about our past while leaving the others to recover from their shock. Luffy's laughter punctured the silence and got everyone moving.
I heard Usopp mutter. "Monsters, I got on a ship of monsters."
I ignored the rude comment as I eat monsters and they're hardly on my level. After a couple hours each of the crew members got to know Robin better and once the waves settled down I had Kame unhook himself before feeding him several hundred foundation building pills before sending him off to hunt.
He needed a stronger foundation before he breaks through to legend rank and he's still quite young so I added a few essence cleansing pills and some bloodline strengthening pills to his diet before he took off. We had two days of rest before the news coo showed up with our new bounties. Luffy got a fifty million increase so he was now worth a hundred and fifty million for defeating Crocodile.
Zoro got an increase to a hundred million and mine went up to two hundred million because I not only killed all the Baroque Works millions and billions, just a title by the way as there were only around ten thousand of them all together, but I was seen fighting three of their agents and killing a fourth as well.
That's not to include the fact that they had information of me nearly killing Crocodile from Smoker as well as destroying the Rainbase casino and swindling hundreds of billions in Berrys from the place before I destroyed it.
Smoker has apparently mentioned my ability to cut sea stone bars on a cage and how I beat him in Loguetown. My fears alone added up to a dramatic increase in my bounty passed what Luffy had now.
Sanji was a bit irked that he hadn't received a bounty yet but the rest were just worried over the three official rookies that they were on the ship with. Robin didn't care one way or another as a persons bounty didn't necessarily display their true strength but their prestige and fame instead.
