Chapter 6: Classes and Confrontation
Everything was fine afterwards class quickly ended without any hassle professor Mcgonagall told us to perform us vanishing charm which no one can do it except me,lily and severus. She rewarded us points but I don't care about them at all afterall they're useless as they seem, just a one night glory then back to real life.
I left the class room and was about make my way towards another class until, Wait a familiar famine voice interrupted me stopping in my way i look at the source of voice to see lily making her way towards me , what i ask calmly.
You have to go hospital wing she told me, after classes was my only answer to her , then began walking to my destination to be once again interrupted again, look professor Mcgonagall told me take you there and i will even if i don't like okay her response was amused me a little bit then don't it was my reply to her , look if don't come with right me now i drag you there with me and tell professor Mcgonagall that you didn't do what she told you to do lily said, knowing the argument will only be dragged cause no one is going to except defeat so i make a complomise.
I knew what professor said and she says and i quote after classes and that means after classes i told her with a bit of annoyance in my voice, but she tried to say something about i have non of it , i am not going to that place again after recently getting realised and that it will taken her two whole days for madam pomfrey to release me back even if i am not sick my past golden eye has already freaked her out and she might held me for how long who knows, i said to her with determination,
if i have to go then i will go on my time

professor Mcgonagall only get me in trouble and already have my plate full .
She tried to say something to me but i cut her off, look i told i will go after classes what's the deal with it huh i said to her a bit angry but then again if she listen easily she will not be in Griffindor.
After sharing a few moments of bickering, she finally realised we are late for our class , after telling me it's all my fault and we are not done yet bolted away quickly and i mimicked her action, like yeah it's all my fault huh i am the one who keeps talking and what's with her today she is not always pick fights except the marudars and Slytherin students or simply who causes trouble and as far i know i don't done anything 'yet' except sitting beside her, Oh that's it she is angry cause she got punished without doing anything well i don't say it's my fault or anything at least not completely, from her perspective it's understandable afterall who wanna sit besides a death eater wanna be.
Why are you following me she said running angryly, if you don't realised we have the same class and i am late cause of you i said as a matter of fact , she about to say something but stopped herself just give me a scorn but keep running towards the class room, yeah we have the same classes together cause Slytherin and Griffindor share most of the classes together.
Finally we reached our destination the potion class held by professor slughorn on the entrance after giving each other a look we both entered the class. The class was dead silent every one carefully brewing potions just like transfiguration takes a lot of concentration and more is more complex in nature compare to transfiguration with one slight small silly mistake you go boom, many people have died in potion making that's the reason there are not many potion master's even if it gives lots of profit but in the dead doesn't need money right except if you are charon.
Professor slughorn finally taken a notice at us he
looks at us with surprise Mr. rosier ,Ms. evans you are late did something happened, the class looked at us like we are some exotic animals in zoo, you don't get to see a prefect late for classes nor the less two at that, not knowing what to say i looked at my fellow prefect for help but her face told she didn't know what to say either and probably don't say anything anytime soon, huh off course she is too goody shoes for own good never been late in class i thought silently suppressing my laugh.
If it take too much time he will get suspicious so, i done the only thing in my mind, Looking back at professor i quickly pulled out another Kakashi and said"Sorry We are late , a black cat crossed our path, so we had to go the long way."i told him in lazy kakashi cheerful manner with a smile.
Upon hearing my words everyone in the looks at me rather funny and shock but the one who looked at me with most surprised was lily.
Ahh.. i see both of you may take a sit than he said to us with a rather confuse and amused look, We both just silently make our way to an empty table .
The table already have all materials and ingredients for potion making there we both sat down not noticing that slughorn has come to our table the look amused grown bigger.
Oh.. i see both of sharing a table together did something today he asked us his voice came from front of us startling my partner from now on.
lily was about to reply but my reply came first.
yes professor , professor Mcgonagall asks us to get along with each other in her ,yours and runes classes from now on .
His face drawn a look of understanding, Ahh i see , professor sprout suggest it to pair prefect of rival houses to increase unity of houses, looks like profesers Mcgonagall chooses you to do the job i will not say i am surprised but good luck to both of you try to get along. So that's why she put us together ,for an experiment huh,now there can be various it hn whatever no crying over spilled milk now, i just roll with it.
Mr. rosier how are you i here you had a terrible accident how are you injury now and how it happens he asked with a smile looking at my face more exactly at my bandage wrapped head unlike professor Mcgonagall he asked maybe cause he is my head of house or solve his curiosity simply because why not madam pomfrey didn't let anyone in hospital wing and with my requested her not to tell anyone about my cause of injury .
Well still the same flesh and bones professor and how i get injured let's just say , "I got a high five in my face with a chair" , Hahahahahaha I reply not having any ability or desire to suppress my laughter.
Which earned me weird looks from everyone including the professor and my potion partner.
who can blame the My past self was like a basic definition of noble bigoted pure breed Slytherin.
Ahh... its good you are.... cheerful today my boy he said rather confuse, but his next words annoyed me to no end, I can why see minerva pair you with miss evans , Ms. evans please after classes take him to do hospital wing he said seriously , Yes professor l will she said seriously as well.
I couldn't help but get annoyed at their exchange i am not SICK DAMN It i thought in my mind was my past self that bad.
Professor shouldn't we be informed for such a big thing earlier i ask him , Yes we informed other prefects for it but they discarded the idea cause they have prepare for their NEWTs you so, the fifth year was the only option cause any lower grade will tear each other apart and i think both of you are the people in your houses how are mature enough and will most likely the best option there and why you were not informed is because of your injury madam pomfrey didn't let anyone meet you he explained patiently to us.
With that professor wished us good luck and starts telling us about felix potion, which picked my interest greatly, .
After sometime he started teaching us about draught of living death told us to brew it the potion Caused the drinker to fall into a deep, death-like slumber.
My past self was pretty decent at potions not to exceptional like severus but good enough to pass the exam with an acceptable grade. Looking at my partner i couldn't help but sigh in relife , Lily's achievements in NEWT Potions, Slughorn's remembrances of her abilities: those are her own. Lily was good at Potions because Lily was good at Potions, not because Snape was propping her up, and those final two years at Hogwarts prove it, at least i can pass without much difficulty these time, knowing rosier almost failed in his OWLs this year.
Looking up lily i couldn't help but think about her, she is the same as books but a lot more beautiful, her eyes have bags. These year was difficult for her.
Unlike in the books she and severus stop talking from the at almost from almost at the end of our fourth year and james is still a prick who pranked her horribly last week . In books she stopped talking to severus cause of lake incident and when he called her mudblood , i couldn't blame her through she tried reasoning him for an entire year and when he called her mudblood it was the last straw for her , what can i say about it huh if my friend become toxic and wants to murder people.
it's better to leave them, who wants toxic friends there is no need for them in life, despite what other say she is still a 15 year old girl.
Despite it all she interested me a lot , true one who killed voldemort, the brightest witch of our generation.

Hey are you listening... her voice snap me back to reality I turn towards her she have an angry look with mild concern.
Yes i replied to her , these is the third time i ask you knew are you alright, yes.... and sorry what you were saying again i replied to her.
She looked me critically then said pass me that jar , which i did with out question.
Do you knew about it i ask her calmly. Yes her reply came a few seconds later ,are there other's like us i ask her , No just us she replied with a sigh her voice showing are fatigue clearly. I can see that she don't want to do it but do it for some reason, my best guess is that professor Mcgonagall requested her to do it cause no one wanted to paired with a Slytherin and my fellow female Slytherin prefect doesn't wanna pair by with a muggle born.So, it leaves only me for the job , knowing my fate is sealed no protests will be heard.
After sometime the class continued and i got bored so, i ask whats your next class. She looked at me and said why you want to knew she said , just bored i replied she didn't say anything for a while , herbology then devination yours she ask back , history of magic i said with a sigh but continued than dada , she wasn't surprised by my answer afterall we have most classes together.
but have other classes with other houses.
After that few words were exchanged between us,
here and there time to time. We reached a silent understanding of each other until the class ends and we depart the class.
She told me go to inframary or else she come and drag me there, i just laughed at that and told her to do so, I'll be waiting in library after dinner.
That got the Griffindor lioness angry ready to tear me apart , to others she may look scary but right now to me she looks damn adorable making me stifle my laughter.
And that was it she lash at me, i defended my self by using logic, twisting her words teasing her.
Her words met mine and before we knew it we were in an argument the exchanged for words was simple no hurtful was said which i was careful about , both of us knowing our lines not to cross.
After wishing each other farewell, we partted our to our respective destination.
But these time with a small but notable smile on our faces.
