Ella had had enough of waiting to hear from Alice, in fact the longer she waited the longer she felt something was wrong and the look of concern on her mother's face just confirmed that she had every right to be worried and that she wasn't overthinking. She had previously reasoned that if any misfortune had befallen Alice, the military would contact them but as the days got along, she wasn't so sure.

Ella thinking about how much her friend did not like burdening others, coupled with her and her mother being concerned just sent her overthinking to the edge. 'What if she died and no one claimed her body, what if that idiot didn't tell them she has family. God knows the Jamieson deserve a fate worse than death.' She absentmindedly drove into the carpark.

'If anything, and I mean anything has happened for Alice I will destroy that family, forget waiting for her to take her revenge.' her eyes glazed with vengeance.
