Chapter 47: " Where's that son of yours?"

Lisbeth was frantic, she looked ready to burst into tears; Eliza excused themselves stoic with the excuse of family emergency, none of their so-called friends enquired even though you see in their eyes that their curiosity had been piqued. 

When Eliza went to pay for their bill, all her cards declined including savings and credit card; she was so embarrassed, eventually the teahouse owner excused her under the guise she was Mrs Heeds. Eliza was now furious, as soon as they left the tea house, Eliza asked why she had such an ugly face on. "Sister in-law said my kids are with Lailah and have been crying, mama I called the house, and no one is answering." Sobbed Lisbeth.
