Under the Tree of Life, the intertwined roots formed chains of undulating hills.
The huge mountains were occupied by functional buildings for the Seven Rings Holy Tower, whereas the small hills were packed with free markets for Demon-Hunter sorcerers.
After winning a war among worlds, sorcerers would return with their bounties and rewards. Usually, they would carry rare items from the other world to sell to other sorcerers. The most common things they brought back were captives and slaves.
Translator Notes:
[1] Formerly Glenn. We apologize if you're losing your heads over this major change but the author did intend to name him Grimm (we can't say why because that's a spoiler) To be fair to the original translator, 格林 could be translated as Glenn, Green, or Grimm but at that time, the story was not complete yet.
[2] Purple Tulip (紫金香) is a purple Tulip flower (scientific name: Tulipa gesneriana, 郁金香), an herb of the genus Tulipaceae. It is the national flower of Turkey, Kazakhstan, and the Netherlands. English name: Flower of Common Tulip, Flower of Late Tulip. In previous chapters, it was translated as Orchid Tree.
