Chapter 122: Bernard the fallen lich

The moon transformed into a horrifying bloody red as the creature jumped back dodging the sudden attack. It wasn't that sudden for the skeleton knight; it was normal. The first thing one could do was to gauge how one would move under the threat of throwing objects, especially artifacts. Stephan looked at the sky briefly, holding a normal sword in his right hand while his left hand clasped an artifact tightly.

A dense smell of death permeated through the air and almost knocked him unconscious. It was a stench that would have been built for centuries. A bad smell that no one would be able to handle. He wanted to close his nose and breath from his mouth but everything changed so suddenly.
