Chapter 279: Ayane

She walked around in the Plaguelands with no clear destination in mind, her eyes looking everywhere for any sign of her father or his servant. If they find out she escaped their golden cage, they would be furious. Well, especially, her father, he wouldn't like it that she was out in the world he tried so hard to hide. However, she had to go out.

She wanted to see the woman who gave birth to her and show her that she existed. Her father visibly didn't want to her mother that she existed for some strange reason she didn't understand. It wasn't like he told her anything.

"Blast them! I will find out what they truly hide behind their smiling faces," she yelled, her voice echoing as far as her ears heard. "I will show them what I can do."
