As I resist the urge to yell at the villages to get the war started already, I hear a strange thump coming from a village, then another village beside it. I look closer and see it was the two gates opening and hundreds of soldiers rushing out of them.
("Finally," I think to myself).
The war started and since then I've been less interested. None of these so called warriors are standing out. All of them are just screaming and swinging their blades randomly.
Now that I think about it, they probably aren't experienced at all since there hasn't been a war here for at least 300 years. In fact the last war that happened caused my birth. All the hope, fear, and energy that came from it was enough to form together and create me, the only local god in the area.
I cancel my thought and just continue watching, after a couple days there are only about 200 soldiers left. By now I've seen many above average soldiers, but one of them stands out as maybe the strongest of them. That soldier is the grandson of Kurt. It's good to see him doing well, he'll probably win the war. As he charges the enemy soldiers he screams:
"For Arsha!".
__________
I'm rushing into battle as one of the last remaining soldiers. It's been atleast a month since The war started and so far, Our village is winning. I'm sure that I will not die because I was blessed by the great deity of the Snake forest. I swing my blade with precision better than any other of my villages soldiers I'm sure that after this the great deity's power will reach farther and Grandpa will be proud.
I slice through the enemy's and lead a group of soldiers through the field of battle. I must stay strong so Arsha does not fall and the soldiers stay strong. I've almost finished the war leaving only 20 enemy soldiers alive but soon I will kill them and win this war. As I'm about to cut down another life I see in the corner of my eye a brightly coloured yellow snake that seems to be watching the battle. Strange I didn't know there were snakes this far from the forest. Unless it's the deity watching... That's it they must be proud of my fierce battle power! I slam the flat of my sword against the soldier in front of me forcing him to the ground. Then I finish the battle by slashing downwards towards my opponent... or at least I thought I ended it, but another soldier blocked my blade and kicked me away.
"I won't let you stand in the way of the greater good!"
I yell as I dash towards him he attempts to parry but as he does I stop allowing him to follow through. Now that he's off balance I complete my strike and end his life. By now the other enemy soldiers have been killed by my fellow warriors. With the war over I go back to the village and lay in my bed. Finally being able to sleep, I wonder what will happen to the opposing villages people. Well it doesn't concern me.
