The King's announcement had everyone silent, but no one dared to argue. As rightfully Adric was the Crown Prince and next in line to the throne. Slowly, the ministers dispersed, going back to their houses as it was still early morning.

Nicholas was the last to leave, he first bowed to the King. "Your Majesty, I'm glad everything is okay with you,"

Fidelis smiled, "I'm happy to have a competent man like you as Prime Minister, do well to serve Adric just as you did for me."

"Yes your Majesty," Nicholas bowed deeply, turning his face to the side to look at Oriana. He noticed the girl's attention was on the king, he bowed and left the palace.

Gwen stood beside her husband, trying to calm her expression before she turned to look at him with a smile on her face. "Fidelis, you scared me, I thought I had lost you." she said, holding her husband's hand.
