Synopsis
Seventeen-year-old Grayson has endured a harrowing childhood, leaving him with a dark and twisted philosophy. Driven by this painful doctrine, he imposes his skewed beliefs on everyone and everything around him. His malevolent actions catch the attention of an ancient evil. This being, shrouded in darkness and legend, sees in Grayson the potential for a successor. Seeing Grayson's potential, the ancient evil begins to groom him for a destiny filled with darkness.
As Grayson is drawn deeper into this sinister path, he must confront the shadows of his past and question whether he has the strength to defy his foretold fate.
Theós, an ancient deity whose origins are lost in time, rules over all, instilling fear in those who know him.
"If it is not withhin Theós' plan, it cannot be done!"
Will Grayson succumb to the darkness within, fall under the rule of Theós, or find the courage to forge a different destiny? The battle for his soul has begun, and the outcome will determine the future of all those around him.

This is a stupidly underrated book. It has great characters who you can *almost* always understand where they are coming from *cough* theos *cough* and has a solid power system. Bring this book up!
I have mixed feelings mostly bad. the trauma the mc is put through is highly unrealistic and doesn't show the actual feelings the mc would have after a given situation. he tries to aquire money through a book even though he can just take it? also, as the second most powerful force in the book, he seems quite unintimidating. small details would make ti much better
