special needs children challenges

well I'm going to share my story I'm mohd Shahnawaz being special Education Teacher and Founder of NGO, Supportive Educational Foundation Trust. New Delhi let's share some experience with you. i did my schooling from Qaumi senior secondary school New Delhi after that I went Zakir Hussain Delhi college, University of Delhi. to get admission in Bachelor of arts at that time I was alone and haven't any information how to get admission. so when I visited in the college campus. I asked from staff politely that. sir from where I can get admission form but fortunately staff co-operate and said do you know how to fill the form . I said no than staff took my hand and bring me at inquiry point and request from the volunteer and said sir please look into the children. and help him to fill the form. I was very happy to see the way of treating myself . absolutely the students of the campus was outstanding way to treat especially for special children like myself. and fill the form of mine and tell me to come tomorrow by 9: o clock so you can see your cut off list of the college and when he said my brother Insha Allah you will get admission so I was excited that I wish too to get admission because I haven't any options expect getting admission. so tomorrow early morning I came to check my status but unfortunately I didn't see my name at the notice board so u was depress and I was thinking that If I didn't get admission in any college then what will I do. while thinking I was standing at the corner of staff room suddenly Dr Savita ma'am she was assistant professor in department of political science was coming so she ask what happened although she was visually impaired. I was shock that how can a lady who is visually impaired can be the assistant professor the whole thing is going in my mind, she again ask what happened then I replied in very sad word that ma'am I'm a physically challenged and wants to get admission in the college and I have already fill the process of admission but I didn't get any response from the college. at that time I am not well aware from the personality of the lady ma'am. she ordered some of the volunteer that listen I'm a main body of "Enabling Unit group" that helps the children with special needs. so I calling the admission incharge to see the matter. and she ask from the volunteers that if you see any special need childrens that please bring to my attention first so that I can see and proceed. and the students who come in the all categories not face any problem or difficulties to get the admission and she hold my hand to walked to meet from others students. I was thinking that now I get admission because she was assured to me that in your catagory like person with disabilities. the cut of goes less down from normal so you will get. so I was normal and she went to take classes. so I was waiting for her and I decided to see the environment of the campus so I went at the ground and watching all the activities where everyone was setting and some of them were planning football so I decided to seat nearby ground. some of the students came and said hello, in which course are you in. I don't know what he was asking because I was not well in English so I only understand, hello words so I said what are you asking brother, he smiled and said okay are you new in college I said yes but till I didn't get admission so he said in which course are you deciding to take suddenly I replied that bachelor in Arts so he said okay go and check a new notice released from administration so hope your name will be too so I just take a turn towards notice board and went to check when my eyes went down I didn't get my name again I looked at the top and suddenly see my registration no and course. so I decided to call first Dr Savita ma'am when I call the call was unreachable and a little bit I disappointed and again I tried and fortunately I get replied from ma'am, listen don't wait for me just go and submit your documents for verification and choose the subjects that you have in intermediate and additional that you are comfortable to adopt , I said okay ma'am and I come to meet admission incharge and submitted all documents and subjects successfully.
