Ethan Perspective

"Oh God, shit," were Ethan's only words as he rubbed his head. He was in a hotel now, sleeping, and he hadn't been home to his condo for two days.Ethan had chosen the hotel as a refuge from the distressing incident with his uncle and Ellie. He needed time and space to process what had happened and to figure out his next steps.

He reached for some hangover medication and swallowed it, hoping to alleviate the physical discomfort caused by both the stressful incident and his night of drinking. After taking the medication, he retrieved his cellphone from his bag, which had run out of battery due to two days of not being charged intentionally to avoid contact from his company, his father, and Ellie.
