Chapter 1: I've Seen Enough Isekai to Know Where This is Going
Ah the old wake up in compete darkness scene it's quite cliche and utterly terrifying to wake up to. All I remember was going to sleep after rereading "Pokemon: Insect Trainer" and then all of a sudden I'm awake in complete darkness, at first I panicked but I calmed upon hearing steady beating with a rhythm that kept going gently pulling me out of my panic.
As I calmed down a thought struck me and with the certainty that only comes from reading literal hundreds of stories that begins this way my first thought was " I'm being reborn." and the second "HOLY S!!T IM BEING REBORN!" as I sat their pondering my ongoing insanity I try to think about how I got here. "My options are insanity, kidnapping and thrown into sensory deprivation tank or reincarnation." as I thought about it I'm being quite calm shouldn't I be worried about my family as soon as I thought that I realized something, something terrible beyond knowing the personalities and what I felt about my family all I remember is GODDAMN POPCULTURE.
