Chapter 2: THAT CAN'T MEAN WHAT I THINK IT MEANS RIGHT

CHAPTER 2

I let the girl to her feet reminding myself to get her name later as now the CEO was looking at us like she would eat us alive.

I looked at the girl expecting her to be cowering in fear //coz I definitely was// but to my surprise she was giggling.

"Awww! You're no fun sis," she said within her giggles.

The CEO just face palmed and sighed.

"Right this way Miss," she said pointing at a chair in front of her desk, "I'm sorry about my sister, she can be a bit much sometimes, hopefully she didn't do something too illegal to you," she said looking towards me.

I blushed and shook my head quickly.

If only she knew that if the elevator had took a second more she would have found me kissing her sister.

I sat at the chair she had motioned to earlier //damn it was comfortable// and had a look around as I waited for her to start whatever was supposed to happen.

It was one of those modern offices.

Painted pure white with a few random expensive looking paintings plastered around.

An edgy table, a rather large white table and huge windows.

"So Miss Laura, what made you finally seek us out," she asked.

"Well…," I was about to pull out my cash problems once again but I stopped deciding to tackle the elephant in the room.

"Wait how do you know my name?" I asked.

"Well your friend told us of course, she's quite chatty you know."

I gritted my teeth. I was going to give her a real talking to when I met her again.

"Don't be mad at her, we would have known anyway, you do use our tech however little," she said going through her computer. Probably looking through my profile or something like that.

"What about the non-disclosure agreement?" I asked wanting to get rid of all my doubts and questions early.

"Well normally we would have fired her, but she's really close to the CEO so…," she said with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Wait you're not the CEO!?" I blurted out almost instinctively, immediately regretting my impulsiveness.

"No I'm not," she said with a chuckle, "I'm merely a front for the tech company I also take care of the paperwork the CEO is a 'freespirit'," she said exaggerating the last part.

"So this is the consent agreement," she said pushing a document towards me.

"Consent agreement?"

"Yeah, naturally this kind of business requires…," she began talking then suddenly stopped and looked at me with some sort of glint in her eye.

"You don't know what you're here for, do you?"

"Yeah, she refused to tell me that part," I said with a blush.

She laughed, " The CEO is going to like this, no need to do this I'll just take you to the CEO and you'll do everything there," she said mischievously.

Then she stood and motioned me to do the same.

We walked to a wall and to my surprise there was a door there she opened it and motioned me to go in.

I walked in slowly.

There was a huge office behind a corner and on the wall there were huge letters.

Presumably the name of the company, it read FREEUSE INDUSTRIES.

Now that can't mean what I think it means right? Right!!!!???
