'Murph?' It was Joe. 'I'm over at the hospital.'

'What's wrong?'

'Nothing with Elisabeth as far as I know,' Joe said hastily. 'I'm out in the car park. I've just witnessed an interesting little scene between two people who aren't supposed to know each other.'

Robert waited.

'Remo Stavros and Greg Waite.'

Robert gave him his complete attention.

'I couldn't get close enough to hear what they were saying but from the body language I'd say something's up. Waite had Stavros against a wall with his arm across his throat. They weren't passing the time of day.'

'Where are they now?' And did it matter?

'Stavros took off inside. To see his mother I suppose. Waite's still here. I'd hazard a guess and say he's waiting for Remo to come back. It might be worth keeping an eye on them.'

'I'm on my way. Whereabouts?'

'The undercover park off the main drag.'

'Where are you?'

'Ground floor. Turn right when you come in and drive around to the next row. Waite's up a bit.'
