Chapter 154: Preparations

Nearly a month came and went in a flash. 

The emperors' work was never finished. When they were done overseeing most of the construction projects, it was time to focus on what their banquet was going to look like. 

They were divided, wondering what would be too much or what wouldn't be enough for the new emperors' debut social event. They wanted to impress families considered high class while also making sure to keep an environment that was welcoming for all classes of soldiers.

Varya hated to admit it, but she was the epitome of someone who threw the finest parties on Earth, never caring to be relatable to anyone. She wanted to be as lavish as possible. It was hard to leave that side of herself behind. 

Fortunately for her, she had Ebari on her team, and with his money-conscious way of spending and ability to create new avenues for wealth, they came to a middle ground where the banquet they held would be enjoyed by everyone.
