On the way back through the palace, Theron didn't see anyone else he had to worry about. It was an immense relief considering the unconscious woman he carried in his arms.
When Basileus had left, Theron debated the prince's words. The warrior side of him was dying to fight whoever did so much harm in such a short amount of time. However, there was a new side of him emerging that really wanted to take Solana away and disappear into the sky while the planet sorted things out on its own.
He looked down at the woman in his arms and knew there was only one decision for him at that moment. He had put in nearly two decades of work. Perhaps it was finally his turn to do what his heart wanted.
He ran to the landing pads where he kept a single-rider ship that he could take to the prince's freighter. It would zip around the larger crafts with ease. Since all communication systems were locked down, he preferred speed rather than anything else at that moment.
