Chapter 103: Back to Reality

Golden morning sun hit Varya's face, causing her to slowly wake up from a peaceful slumber. The way she felt seemed too good to be true considering all she had experienced the last couple of years.

She hadn't realized before that moment just how much she missed living in a solar system with only one sun to worry about. It was going to make the time much easier to keep track of and the seasonal cycles of the planet easier to predict.

Considering the two others aboard the ship were under the impression that Varya and Ebari were a real couple, they decided they would share a room for the time being to avoid any suspicion. It was strange because, to her, it felt like a sleepover with a best friend. She had also missed the secure feeling of having someone sleep a few feet away who could actually protect her if something went wrong.
