In the blink of an eye, it was already a week to Charles's birthday and Grace, who had been given the task of getting presents for some children that would be coming over to celebrate with Charles, arrived at the shopping mall at exactly nine o'clock.

"You can wait for me in the car," Grace said to Jordan as she stepped out of the car.

"Are you sure you can handle it alone? I can help you with the bags," Jordan volunteered.

Although they had gotten quite close as Charles's driver, he still treated Grace with respect. 

"No need, my friend will be coming over to help. She should be around somewhere," Grace said.

"Alright. But if you need my assistant, just call me, okay?"

"Sure," Grace said as her eyes scanned around for Wendy. 

She put a call through to Wendy but the call was rejected, causing a frown to mar Grace's exquisite features.
