"Mother, when did you arrive?"

"I've been here all along. It's just that you didn't see me," Doreen replied.

As she spoke, her eyes never left Grace who seemed to be having the time of her life with her friends. 

She saw a frown replace the smile on her face when Trent approached. 

"I hope that bully is as reliable as he looks. If he can't get Grace to fall for him then our plans will not go through,"

"It will definitely work this time around mom, with Trent using his wealth to mount pressure on her, I'm sure that bitch will not be able to resist him. Isn't she here for the money?"

"You're right. But will he be willing to spend so much on her?"

"Why won't he, I can see that he loves her so much, if he didn't he wouldn't endure what she did to him just now," Cory said confidently.
