Richard decided to walk over to Anxia with his footsteps echoing into Anxia's ears.

Hearing someone walking closer made Anxia instantly snap out of her reverie. She stood up while straightening her back and putting on a cheerful face.

"Xia Xia, you took so long. Oh, where's Michele?" Richard walked up to his wife while looking left and right as if he was looking for his sister-in-law.

"She's back in her room," Anxia remembered her promise to tell Richard anything if something happened. But this time, Anxia wanted to hide it.

"Then why are you still here? You don't want to come back to me?"

"I…" strangely, Anxia's stepped backward as Richard approached her.

"Why are you avoiding me? Are you still mad at me?"
