Chapter 13: The Library
As I walked to the Library together with Noel, because she's my guide, she said to me, "Before we go in to the Library, I need to give you some advice."
"Hm? What is it?" I asked.
"In the Library, you cannot borrow books from the Library, if you want to read something read it there, and don't be too loud, because the Librarian has sensitive hearing, because of her Skill and Profession, so if she hears something really loud, her ears will start to bleed, that's why the king gave her the Librarian title, so she can have peace and quiet, so if you want to say something to her, say it as quietly as possible, got it?"
"O-Okay, I'll try."
"Good then."

We were walking for 10 minutes and finally reach the entrance of the Library and I said, "Why do you guys have long hallways?! It tooked us 10 minutes to reach the Library," I said as I sat down trying to catch my breath.
"Why are you tired already? You were just execising outside," Noel said to me.
"That's the reason I'm tired, I was exercising outside and it made me tired, so walking for only 10 minutes will make me tired quickly," I said, while breathing heavily.
After I said that, I heard a voice whispering on the other side of the door, "P-Please be quiet, i-if you're going loud, p-please go somewhere else."
"Oh, I'm sorry about that Joy, I already told a certain someone to stay quiet, but they didn't listen, so can you open the door? We promise to not be loud, right," she told to me very irritatedly.
"R-Right."
Then the door opened and behind the door is blonde girl with red eye appeared and said, "I-If that's the case then, please come right in."
"O-Ok, excuse us," I said.
When we entered the Library, the first thing we see are the others reading books about Mana and Magic spells about every elements.
After I entered, Noel told me, "Then I will take my leave, please make sure to behave yourself and don't cause Ms. Joy problems."
"Who do you think I am, a trouble maker?"
"Yes, that's exactly what meant," this girl sure know how make someone angry.
"*sigh* Yeah, yeah I won't, so get out of here."
"Then, please excuse me," then she closed the door.
When she left I turned around and see that all my classmates were staring at me.
Then Joy-san whispered to me and said, "N-Nice to meet you, you probably already heard from N-Noel, n-nice to meet you."
"Oh, ah,,, nice to meet you too, I'm Sie."
As they were staring at me, Joy-san said to me while whispering, "Uh,,, h-have you already decided on what book you'll be reading?"
"Oh, yes, umm...can you give me a book about Mana, please?"
"Y-Yes, right away, while I finding the book please go sit down with the others."
"Ok."
Then I started approaching my classmates and sat down next to Shimizu-san, and while I was waiting, Shimizu-san spoke and said to me, "So, what are you doing here?"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, because of your weapon, so you should be exercising with the others, so what are you doing here?"
Is she trying to embarrass me? In that case, "What do you think? I'm here to read, pretty obvious, since we're in a Library, right?"
After I said that, the others looked at me like I said something I shouldn't have.
Then Shimizu-san said, "Hee~ is that so? Well, I hope you have a good time studying."
She said it in a way that she's actually not hoping for me to have a good time.
Then Joy-san finally found the book I wanted and said, "H-Here you Sir. Sie, this is a book all about Mana, if you are done reading it y-you can just give to me over there," she said while pointing to the direction of her desk.
"Alright, thanks," I responded.
"Hey Librarian, can you find me a book about Spells, thanks," Shimizu-san said.
"A-Alright, I'll be right back."
When she left to go find her book, I felt bad for her, having to be ordered around by someone like her, I let out a sigh and opened my book, and started reading.

An hour has passed and I finished reading this book, and when I looked at Shimizu-san's side, she still on the same book and still on the same page, is she even reading? I want to ask her, but I feel like it's gonna be trouble if I did.
Then Joy-san approached Shimizu-san and said, "Uh...Ms. Hero, i-if you're going to read, w-would you please leave the Library?"
I didn't know someone shy like her has the guts to ask her if she can leave, Joy-san, you have my respect.
"Hah? What did you say?" Shimizu-san responded.
"I-I said i-if you're not going to read, p-please leave..."
"Leave? Why? I'm still reading, can't you see that? or are you blind?"
"B-But, you've been on the same p-page for an hour so..."
"So what? I'm still reading, why do you have to disturb me, now I have to restart."
I doubt that, so what are you going to say Joy-san? what you say will decide if you're going to be her next victim for bullying or not.
"...I don't think you're actually going to read, if you're not going to read, then please leave immediately.
...I'm speechless, I didn't know she's has this cool side to her, Joy-san, I respect you even more.
Shimizu-san stood up from her sit and approached Joy-san and said, "Who do you think you are? Huh?"
"W-What?"
"You know I'm the Hero right?"
"Y-Yes, I know that."
"Good, so what gives you the right to get me to leave this place? Huh?"
"Y-You were not even reading and kept being loud in a quiet place, a-and I'm sure that the maids that escort you here a-already told you that I have very sensitive hearing, s-so if you could be silent, I won't ask you to leave."
She can really stand up for herself, but I can see her shaking and she looks like she's about to cry, but she holding it in, Noel didn't tell me she can be cool sometimes.
Shimizu-san and her friend started giggling and said to her, "Aright then, I'll be quiet, will that make you happy?"
Joy-san smile in delight and said, "That would be wonderful, thank you so much."
Shimizu-san approached her and said, "Your very welcome."
She touched Joy-san's shoulders and goes right up to her ear and screamed, "NOT!!"
Then a lot of blood flowed down her ear and she collapsed.
"Wow~ you really do have sensitive hearing, just from that is enough to make you bleed?" Shimizu-san said while laughing.
I then screamed, "Joy-san!"
Then went to her and picked her up, when I picked her up, she was shaking non-stop so I carried her and said, "Don't worry, we'll get you some help."
I ran out of the Library and called out for Noel, "NOEL!! Where are you?!"
She heard me and ran to me asking, "Why? What's wrong?"
When she saw I was carrying Joy-san, she ran to me as fast as she could and asked, "Why?! What happened?!"
"Now's not the time, we need to get her some help now, she's been shaking non-stop," after I said that, her mouth started letting out foam.
Noel then started panicking and said, "JOY! Please Don't do this to me! NO!"
"NOEL! Calm down, she need to get some help now! Where are the priests who are good for healing?" I asked.
"Their not her right now, they went somewhere, and they won't be back until tomorrow..."
Just as when there's a patient, they have to be gone...
Noel started tearing up and said, "Joy...no...please..."
There has to be a way to heal her, but what?...
I looked at Joy-san as she is still shaking, I started shaking as well, because I don't know what to do in situations like this...There has to a way...
...That's it...
"Noel, I have an idea, can you tell me where her room is?"
"Huh...? Why...?"
"Just tell me! I found a way to heal her!"
"What? Really? Then this way, hurry!"
"Don't worry Joy-san, if my theory is correct then, I might be able to cure her."
Noel looked at me, because she's doubting me, can't blame her, even I doubt this theory will work, but if it does, then I might be able to make use out of her.

We arrived at her room and I laid her down to her bed, she's still shaking...I hope this theory works...
"Are you sure you can heal her? Back at when you announced your status, you don't have a Healing Skill, but your classmates can, so why don't we just ask one of your classmates to heal her?" Noel asked.
How am I supposed to tell everyone, that one of my classmates, that's a Hero, injured one of their people's ears, while knowing that she has very sensitive hearing?
Worst case scenario, they might throw us to the streets that we don't even know, or worst, getting executed, judging by the structures of this place and the way they speak, I'm for sure execution is a common thing here, so I want to avoid that as much as possible.
I responded to Noel, "I don't want to bother their training, so I will be the one who will heal her."
"What did you say?! How does their training more important than Joy's life?! Look at her she still shaking!"
"That's why we have to hurry and heal her, so can you just trust me on this?!"
"How am I suppose to trust you after you said that?! Huh?!"
When we were arguing Joy-san started shaking more and more like it's getting worse and more blood is coming out of her ears and little bit from her mouth.
"Joy-san!"
"Joy!"
"Noel make up your mind, do you trust me on healing her or not?!"
"...Kgh...Fine! Please heal her!"
"Alright!"
"Let's Begin the Healing!!"
