Ever since they left Soohyun's house, Gray's been on his toes. Soohyun was busy on the phone, calling people that even Gray doesn't know about. Yoochun's the one driving through the afternoon traffic but Gray's the one feeling agitated. Soohyun, at some point in time, will reveal a smirk that Gray knows all too well before something mischievous happens which mostly caused more harm to him than Soohyun. And that 'at some point in time' moment is right in front of him.
"What is going on inside your head?" Gray squinted his eyes towards his best friend with unease, "I don't like that look on your face."
"Come on," Soohyun snorted as he replied, "I have a handsome face and this face now is my game face."
"Yeah, well your game face always involved something crazy and downright outrageous," Gray stated as a matter of factly.
"Relax, this time I won't be involving you," Soohyun pats his best friend's shoulder, "Much..."
"Wait what?" Gray's remark is initially ignored as Soohyun immediately talked on his phone without paying mind to his best friend's question.
"Gather everyone to my apartment in Seoul," Soohyun that was all he needed to say before hanging up the phone, "And to answer your question, you'd have to trust me on this, alright?"
"I'm gonna regret this, don't I?" Gray looked at Soohyun, and all the reply he got was a shrug along with a stupid grin from his friend, "Thought so.."

Yoochun drove the car to one of Soohyun's luxurious apartments, but this particular apartment isn't Soohyun's usual place to stay which brought a surprise to Gray since he'd known everything about where Soohyun stays. However, things aren't as they seem when stopping in front of The Hill located in Seoul, Hannam. Deemed one of the most expensive apartments in Korea in the year 2018, but to Soohyun this is just like buying new pairs of shoes since what he earns monthly is enough to buy himself this apartment and still has plenty to spare that he can buy 4 more mansions to his liking.
"Wait, I didn't know you have a residence here," Gray looked at Soohyun questioningly as the two males stepped out the car.
"I didn't' tell you about this apartment?" Soohyun blinked in the same confusion that his friend expressed a few seconds ago, "Wait.. yeah I never but now you know," He grinned and pats his best friend by the shoulder then proceeded into the apartment building with Yoochun and Gray in tow.
The front desk manager nodded a smile and welcome to Soohyun, which he usually ignored, then go about his business. Gray, being the nice gentleman, bowed back to the manager followed by Yoochun doing the same. As if nothing occurred, Soohyun just pressed the elevator button and paid no mind at all. "Can't you at least be polite?" Gray stated as they enter the elevator.
"Don't need to, I paid him," Soohyun shrugged his shoulder and pressed the top floor. Gray knows his best friend all too well and chooses to just put a rest to that remark.
Upon arriving at the floor, Soohyun walked to the right in front of two huge doors then turned to Gray, "Umm... Don't be too surprised okay? I only do this to find what's best that suits me." As soon as his sentence finishes, he pushed the door open to reveal monitors upon monitors as if the whole room is owned by the FEDs instead of Soohyun the CEO of a multi-million dollar company. Gray, upon seeing such revelation, was left agape and awed at the same time. There are at least 10 or 15 people present while in the center of the room, a huge plasma screen half the size of your average theatre screen stood out the most amid all the advanced technologies displayed.
"What is this?" Gray gestured to all the equipment inside the suite, wide-eyed with the sight before him.
"I know right?" Soohyun pats his best friend's back like a proud father would to his pal when witnessing his child accomplished something brag-worthy, "In case you're wondering, this is all from my pocket and the company has nothing to do with it."
"That's not what I meant," Gray averts his attention to his best friend, "I mean, why do you even need to set all this up?
"Oh? Well..." Soohyun trailed off slightly before chuckling, "Cause why not? I got the money for it and I knew it will come in handy one day and it did. And I also set this up to see the world updates on things."
"Like?" Gray raises an eyebrow as he throws an eye dagger towards Soohyun, "Company wise right?"
"Mehh probably," Soohyun just shrugged as if what Gray asked was something trivial, "Kwangsoo Hyung, can you pull up our show for the day?"
"All right, on it," Kwangsoo is one of Soohyun's most trustworthy employee in his secret operations bay. With a tap of his keyboard, the biggest screen in the screen lit up. The screen revealed a live CCTV footage of a building that makes Gray's eyes once again widened.
"No way, you hacked into K Inc's security cams?" Gray looked at Soohyun, surprised. "But that's illegal if she finds out you did this, we're talking about an all-out war on our hands."
"My team got this," Soohyun yet again brushed the evident warning that Gray was giving out, "Alright team, what can we do so I can have that on one with the boss of the company?"
"There is only one way for you to do that," Kwangsoo turned his chair to face Soohyun, "Disguise yourself as an employee of the company, but even then you won't have 100% access yet to meeting the boss."
"And why can't I just stroll into the company like the CEO that I am?" Soohyun crossed his arms across his chest with brows frowning.
"Well for starters, JiU-ssi means business when it comes to the company's security," Kwangsoo reverts to his keyboard and taps in some keys on the keyboard before the screen changed again to reveal a database. "This is a list of people that the company scanned for entry in the last 2 years, and there are three files." Kwangsoo then pulled the three files on screen, but they are of different color codes. "The Blue one consists only of 10 people, the board of directors including the CEO and her secretary. The Green one consisted of hundreds of employees that work for the companies. The last one is the Red file, and this is where it gets very interesting."
Kwangsoo. like a maestro, glides his fingers on the keyboard to display the content of the red file. "These names are associated with several Business Company Giants." Pictures of individuals along with information about them are displayed right next to their portraits. Soohyun and Gray could recognize some of them already, they are both stunned at the revelation.
"Why are they blacklisted?" Soohyun walked closer to the screen when he noticed a familiar face amongst the other names, "Wait, why am I blacklisted too?"
"Really? You still don't know?" Gray replied nonchalantly towards his best friend.
"Oh Yeah...." Soohyun trailed off and huffs air from his mouth.
"That was what I wondered too," Kwangsoo turned his chair to face Soohyun, "So I did some research last night in the light of this weird predicament, then I made an interesting discovery. These companies were has-beens that ended on the bad side of deals with K Inc, but it didn't stop these people didn't stop there. They tried to reason with the CEO by coming back, again and again, to coax her so she will change her mind so she finally decided that she's had enough of it. Hence, the crazy digital body scan. She didn't use this for the reasons you might think, but their people have tried to sneak in before by other entrances to get to her. Plus any means of them trying to contact her is also cut off. I guess being the top of the world doesn't always seem fun huh?"
"Yeah man, not fun," Soohyun frowned as he looked at Kwangsoo after his remark.
Looking at his employer's face, made Kwangsoo wished he was a dwarf which was ironic since he stands at least over 190 centimeters in height. He resumes back to twiddling his thumbs on his keyboard to pull up another about the company, "There is no way of sneaking in unless you are an eligible employee or a new person for hire."
"Well then that leaves only one thing then," Soohyun clasps his hands together and heaves out a sigh, "I'll just have to pretend as the new guy."
The whole room went silent and turned to look at their boss and best friend and in unison, they chorused, "WHAT??"
"Thought you'd all say that, but I got a lot to lose if I can't get this deal again, I am screwed," Soohyun is determined to get this done for to avoid the chance of losing his position and assets to his little brother even though he loves his little brother dearly. "So, Kwangsoo, you know what to do right?"
"Yes boss, on it," Kwangsoo cracked his knuckles and resumed his work on his computer.
"Then how do you plan on looking different?" Gray frowns at the thought as he looks at his best friend.
"Do you remember Mina?" Soohyun recalled the young and talented saloon owner who's always Soohyun's go to girl when he needs to look the part for some important occasions.
"I thought she handles your fashion," Gray has never met the girl in person, hence the statement.
"Well, trust me bro," Soohyun smirked suggestively towards his friend, "She can do much more than that."
"Woah... Alright man, no need to go into details, I got it," Gray replied with both arms up, earning a hearty laugh from Soohyun.
"Let the games begin," Soohyun grinned confidently with clasped hands.
