Chapter 89: I Just Really, Really Love You

Bree's parents rather awkwardly hugged her and shook Jasper's hand before scurrying away after lunch, saying how nice it was to meet him when he doubted it was true. He had accomplished his mission and he was satisfied.

His girlfriend looked up at him in awe, a dazed grin on her face. "That was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life. You nailed them!"

"That was my intention," he replied with a shrug. "They should reflect on their actions for a while but if they don't, I can always do it again. Honestly, being your shield was kind of fun."

Bree's expression grew touched and she jumped up to try and hug him. He had to catch her and bring her up the rest of the way so she could reach his face. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him briefly before caressing his cheek.

"I think I might love you, Jasper Kendrick."
