A Different Disease

Linnet had watched her entire family die by the madness that threatened to bring humanity near extinction, the madness that had plagued the whole world.

It was just a disease, she thought, and the experiments she had to undergo as an immune was just a show of the cruelness of the Blue Hall and the man who ruled it.

Until she noticed some changes and the glowing. Her eyes were definitely glowing.
