Chapter 259: Last Update - The Rewrite Has Caught Up!
To all my old readers who have been waiting patiently for the rewrite to catch up - great news, we're finally there!
The last chapters of Volume 4 of the rewrite, Desolate Fate, have just been released, meaning that now, the rewrite is finally over, and starting tomorrow, we will be moving on to Volume 5!
Now, let me remind everyone - the novel is going to continue over on 'Desolate Fate', not here on 'A Desolate Life'. DF is just a polished version of ADL - some people reread it, but it's not essential, there are no major changes, the story/novel is exactly the same, I just fixed the issues in the earlier chapters and polished the writing of the novel as a whole.
So, if you're not doing so already, go follow Desolate Fate, because Volume 5 will be continuing over there! ADL was a nice start, but this will be the last update here; ADL is dropped and DF has taken its place.
In case I haven't made it clear enough, they are the same novel, so go read Desolate Fate! However, note that the chapter numbers don't align, so Volume 5 will start with:
Chapter 273 - Alive, But Not Living
in Desolate Fate. This chapter will be released on Sunday 14th May at 20:30 GMT, just to let everyone know :)
