Madisyn and Ethan arrived at the restaurant Ethan had chosen. Calling the place "elegant" would have been a gross understatement. It was a renowned establishment, famed for its two Michelin stars. The grandeur of the setting was evident the moment they stepped inside—the dim lighting cast a soft glow on the luxurious furnishings, and the air was thick with an intoxicating blend of exquisite aromas. However, this restaurant was not one you could just walk into; reservations were required weeks in advance. But Ethan hadn't bothered with that. He knew he would be let inside regardless.

As soon as he walked through the door, a waitress greeted them warmly, her eyes lighting up with recognition. "Good evening, Mr. Connor," she said smoothly. "Will you be needing a table?"
