He noticed, a smug grin spreading across his face. "Come on, tell me—how does it feel sitting on such a fancy chair with no slips on?" His question was so casual, so clueless, that Madisyn's eyes widened in shock. Her face grew as red as a tomato, her embarrassment now complete.

The reminder of her situation hit her all at once, and she instinctively squeezed her legs together, closing her eyes in disbelief.
