Chapter 58: Chapter fifty eighr

Madisyn took a quick shower, the steam filling the small bathroom, but the hot water did little to calm the whirlwind of thoughts spinning in her mind. She dressed hastily, pulling on a loose sweater and jeans, her fingers fumbling slightly as she grabbed her bag and slipped out of the house. The crisp morning air hit her face as she stepped outside, but even that wasn't enough to shake the weight that hung on her chest.
