"Mom, we need you," Oliver shouted as soon as he and his wife joined the party.

So far, the crowd was growing as more of their guests arrived. It was supposed to be a short list, but he guessed their small family had increased through blood connections and friendships.

"Where are we going?" Jules asked while glancing at him before giving their son her full attention.

"Go on. I will hold the front." He urged his wife to indulge their son's whim. Besides, he wanted to chat with several people before the party kicked into high gear.

"I will be back soon." She promised before she let Oliver drag her to wherever they were going.

On the other hand, he let his eyes wander, seeking for a particular person. But so far, he failed to find him. Nonetheless, he spotted someone else.
