He wished he did not have to return to work, but Wenna called, informing him of an urgent matter he had to attend to.

He might be the boss, but he still had responsibilities to his company, shareholders, employees, and all those who benefitted from his business.

"Is that everything you need?" Damon asked his assistant after signing the last contract on his desk. 

After the meeting just a few minutes ago, he returned to his office to deal with the paperwork he left that morning. He wanted his table cleared before his wife arrived to pick him up.

He had agreed with her suggestion that instead of him going home, she would drop by his office before they proceeded to her childhood home.

"I am still waiting for one more," Wenna informed him. It seemed that the manager in the Finance Department had an urgent business that needed his approval.
