"I am not laughing. I am just happy for you. It seems wedding bells are just around the corner." The man continued to mock him, obviously taking pleasure in his situation.

He could hear the smirk in his friend's voice. He could even imagine the irritating smile on his friend's face. But he could do nothing about it.

"Well, it is not damn funny, Damon." He said as he gradually stopped at another stoplight. He did not see his situation as remotely close to something he should be happy about.
