Arix's mind raced, but then a lightbulb went off, and her eyes lit up. "Sekhmet, have you thought about talking to the Pontifex of the Empire of Sacred Moonlight? He might know a way to send you back to Earth."
She suggested it with confidence—after all, Arix was living proof that returning home was possible.
But Sekhmet just gave her a bitter smile, shaking her head. "It's no use. I've tried every method this world has to offer."
Arix was left speechless. 'So, because you can't find a way back, your plan is to destroy this world?'
"But," Sekhmet continued, her voice a little softer, "days ago, I finally found a way."
"A way?" Arix echoed, feeling a pit form in her stomach. She already had a sinking feeling this wasn't going to be good news. Curiosity still got the best of her, though.
Sekhmet's eyes flickered with a mix of emotions before her expression hardened. "A powerful person told me that if I kill you, he can send me home."
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
