Chapter 25: An Invasion

In the VIP box, Adrian frowned and said, "It's been almost half an hour, when will it be the turn for the bio-mecha?"

Arix checked the opticomputer on the coffee table and comforted him, "Just three more events to go."

Cassian scrunched his brow, feeling an unexplainable sense of crisis urging him to leave with Arix, but looking down at the noisy auction below, he thought he might be overthinking it.

"Cassian, what's wrong? Are you feeling okay?" Arix, noticing Cassian's troubled expression, pulled him into a hug, concerned.

Cassian pursed his lips and just held onto Arix, silent.

He knew Arix was really looking forward to the last auction and didn't want to disappoint her because of his own feelings.

After looking at Cassian for a while, Arix still felt worried and said to Cirilla, "Cirilla, Cassian feels unwell, I'm going to take him home."
