Prologue (Updated)
Dan loves watching anime to relieve stress due to what happens in his life with school, family, and friends. Currently, he just finishes watching some anime series while lying down on his bed.
"Aaahh I need to study for the coming exam..." Dan mutter as he stares at his ceiling.
He went to his desk to start but heard the rumbling sound of his stomach.
"Hmm, I should eat first before I begin to study." He thought as went to the kitchen to get some food but to find that there is none left.
"Should I go out to buy or just order online?"
But decided to go out to buy as he wanted to save some money.
He looks at the clock to see the time, "8 pm…Mom going out to buy food need anything?"
"No need just be careful outside don't use your phone while walking!" his mom responded.
Dan when out with his Airpods Pro turning on the noise cancellation halfheartedly listening to his mother. While walking and using his phone at the same time, Dan crosses the road without looking up from his phone which let him to not see the red light as he continues to walk. At that moment, an incoming truck came by and did not stop on time.
BANG.
"Eh, what happens? Why am I on the ground…" Dan thought as he felt weak on the ground barely hearing anything from his surroundings and getting an idea of what happens.
"Oh man should have not walk while using the phone. I guess karma for not listening to mom she so going to be mad…" he mutters as eyelids started to get heavy…...

In a Hospital room, a young woman who is breathing heavily due to childbirth who is weakening was holding a child. Looking at the child with all the love she can muster, "I'm so sorry my dear, I wish to be there when you grow up to see all of your firsts and take care of you but it seems Okaa-san is not able to." She says sadly to the child she is holding.
"Kira nee-san…" another voice came from the person sitting beside the bed.
"Haru-chan…I leave her to you, her name is Hikari, Kiyama Hikari." Kira says to her younger sister.
"But I…" she looks at her hands clenching them.
"Hold her." Kira bring the child near her as she possibly can with her weakening body.
"I do not know what has happened to you during your time at Academy City but no matter how hard it gets please do not give up maybe now things are hard but we do not know what would happen in the future we may find hope if we don't give up…Look…" Kira gazes at the child that her sister is currently holding and Harumi follow her sight to the child to see Hikari smiling at her which in turn makes her smile genuinely.
"Hikari the Light as she is the light in my life and now yours that's why Harumi I leave her to you, protect her and I believe in the future she would…save….y…." Kira says as she closed her eyes leaving a smile on her face.
"Kira nee-san!? Nee-san!" Harumi shouts as she desperately holding on Hikari.
Feeling the sadness of her aunt's voice Hikari started to cry as well, "Uwaaaahh!"
Hearing the child cry Harumi hugs her closer, "Don't worry nee-san I will not give up, I will protect her especially from them no matter what needs to be done." she muttered to herself with determination.

'Hmm what happen wasn't I on the ground just now?' he thought as he felt himself being lifted, attempt to open his eyes to see his surroundings but saw a blurry giant holding him.
'Is this what I think is it, the Isekai thing I read in novels, fanfics and animes but what happens to my old body, my family mom, dad, and my siblings!?' as he started to panic but the voice from the giant break his thought.
"I'm so sorry my dear, I wish to be there when you grow up to see all of your firsts and take care of you but it seems Okaa-san is not able to." As the giant speaking in a language that he is very much familiar with from watching many animes which is Japanese and looking at him with a sad face.
'By the way she is saying, is she my new mom but why is she looking so sad is something wrong she is breathing quite heavily?' while looking at his new mom.
"…...Hikari, Kiyama Hikari." 'Hikari is that my new name sounds a bit girly but Kiyama that name sound familiar..hm her?' as he was pass to another person that he thinks could be his aunt as she called his mom nee-san which should mean older sister in Japanese.
'HER!? I'm a GIRL!' He now she screams in her mind. She then heard her mom says Academy City.
'Academy City! Am I in the anime 'A Certain Magical Index' or is it 'A Certain Scientific Railgun' and Kiyama you mean Kiyama Harumi the one if I am not wrong who develop the Level upper! I'm her niece OMG!' she changes her sight to Harumi who looking as if she gave up on life and that hurts her heart so she tries to smile at her aunt so that she can smile at which she did and a genuine smile appears and that makes her happy to see her aunt smiling face.
"…now yours that's why Harumi I leave her to you, protect her and I believe in the future she would…save…. y…." as Hikari hears the weakening voice of her new mother but was unable to see her face due to the position that she is in while in her aunt embrace but could guess what has happened by the sadness in the face and voice of her aunt that caused her to cry for her new mother which she did not get to spend a lot of time within her new life.
She then felt her aunt hugging her tightly, "Don't worry nee-san I will not give up, I will protect her especially from them no matter what needs to be done." She heard her aunt mutters, 'I also promised mom to protect Aunt Harumi and save her like you say so don't worry and believe in your daughter.' she also makes a promise to herself with determination to save her aunt in the future. What both Hikari and Harumi did not notice is that by the side of Kira bed on top of the desk in the vase a flower that looks as if was burned from the top can be seen...

LoHehe As you can guess the changes is at which in the Level upper arc on the time the child errors when into a coma as I am not sure the timing at which this happens
