Chapter 44: Acting Like a Wife

"Aleysa, why are you here?" asked Hans, surprised to see Aleysa beside him. Even Hans had pushed Aleysa away. Aleysa who was asleep suddenly woke up from her sleep.

"You're awake Hans? You're finally awake. What's up? Is anyone sick?" Aleysa asked while holding Hans' forehead to see if Hans still had a fever or not. But Aleysa's hand was immediately pushed away by Hans.

"What are you doing? Why are you holding my hand?"

"Sorry Hans. I just wanted to make sure that your fever has gone down or not? Because you had a really high fever. But after the compresses, your fever finally went down."

Hans was silent. He seemed to be remembering something.

"Come on, you don't have to pay attention to me. I don't need your attention either. It's better if you stay away from me. I want to get ready to go to work."

"But Hans. You haven't recovered yet. You still need to rest. Hans...."
